This paper evaluates the potential use of date palm leaf biochar as a climate change solution through CO 2 capture and sequestration. The pyrolysis was performed at different temperatures 300°, 400°, 500°, 600 °C. physicochemical characteristics synthesized were examined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis (EDX), Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD). Direct gas-solid interaction carried out in an integrated Fluidized Bed Reactor (FBR), connected gas analyzer for maximum effective mixing between . LabView program used data acquisition instantaneous calculation adsorption. study showed that porous carbon-based materials has high adsorption capacity physisorption chemisorption progressions. results percentage 0.09 kg /kg, 0.15 0.20 0.25 /kg 300 °C, 400 500 respectively. paid attention to inexpensive technology applied sequestration, where fluidization provides well particles low operation cost. • aims prepare from (DPL) waste evaluate its sequestration capacity. Biochar samples pyrolyzed characterized SEM-EDS, FTIR, TGA, XRD. reaction achieved fluidized bed reactor on DPL particles. Results indicated ranged 07 25%, based pyrolysis.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is home to diverse indigenous medicinal plants traditionally used for centuries. This study systematically evaluates the pharmacological and nutritional potential of key plants, including Lawsonia inermis, Nigella sativa, Ziziphus spina-christi, Allium cepa, sativum, Cymbopogon schoenanthus, Matricaria aurea, Phoenix dactylifera, Portulaca oleracea, Reichardia tingitana, Salvadora persica, Solanum lycopersicum, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Withania somnifera, lotus. Comprehensive literature searches were conducted using PubMed, Scopus, Web Science identify studies relevant their uses. findings highlight therapeutic roles these in managing global health challenges such as gastrointestinal diseases, antimicrobial resistance through bioactive compounds like flavonoids, polyphenols, antioxidants. Additionally, contributions nutrition, essential vitamins minerals, are emphasized disease prevention promotion. While this research focuses on UAE, implications globally relevant, many also found traditional medicine across Asia, Africa, Europe. Integrating into healthcare systems offers solutions pressing public concerns, reduces reliance synthetic pharmaceuticals, promotes sustainable practices. work a valuable reference researchers, professionals, policymakers, bridging knowledge modern scientific applications globally.

The seeds of 11 common dates (phoenix dactylifera L.) cultivars from the coastal oasis Gabés, and noble variety Deglet Nour Kébéli were evaluated for their chemical composition.Polyphenol, flavonoid, anthocyanin, antioxidant, antimicrobial activity was recorded against 5 pathogen bacteria (Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, epidermis, Salmonella Typhinurium). The sugar content ranged between 1.20 g/100 gMS ( Bouhattam) 3.80 Khadhouri). The total phenolic oscillates 5.224 (Baht) 9.532 (Khadhouri).Khadhouri also had highest flavonoids (3.82 gMS).The higher antioxidant found on Khadhouri cultivar (55.47% DPPH radical scavenging activity). It has been that a linear relationship (p<0.01)exists inhibition percentage.Antibacterial avtivities clearly show all extracts showed antibacterial except Enterococcus feacalis.PCA revealed first two principal components (PC1 PC2) accounted 54.23% variance within data set. These separated studied into four different groups. This by-product date processing industries could be regarded as an excellent source food ingredients with interesting technological functionality used in medicinal preparation important oil.
