Abstract BackgroundNurses bear a lot of stressors at work. The 10-item Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) is widely used self-reported scale for measuring the global perception stress. However, there lack use PSS-10 in Chinese nurses. This study aimed to test psychometric properties among nurses.MethodsA total 708 nurses completed PSS-10, Big Five Inventory, and Depression Anxiety Scale. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) tested structure PSS-10. Cronbach's alpha coefficient test-retest correlation examined reliability. Pearson hierarchical regression analyses convergent concurrent validity PSS-10.ResultsCFA revealed that two-factor model fits demonstrated adequate internal consistency reliability, satisfied with relations personality traits.
