The present study addresses the research gap in studies on role of metalinguistic awareness and language dominance amongst EFL learners Saudi context. It empirically contributes to context its association phenomenon development learners. was conducted English Department Hail University, Arabia. Using systematic random sampling set at 95% level confidence with proper observance assumptions inferential statistics, results revealed that most respondents were Bilingual Dominant (BED). Moreover, there is a highly favorable learning L2, knowledge regulation categories registered among respondents.
