A major challenging problem facing effective ovarian cancer therapy is cisplatin resistance. Re-sensitization of cisplatin-resistant cells to (CDDP) has become a critical issue. Curcumin (CUR), the most abundant dietary polyphenolic curcuminoids derived from turmeric (Curcuma longa), achieved previously significant anti-cancer effects against human adenocarcinoma SKOV-3/CDDP by inhibition gene expression antioxidant enzymes (SOD1, SOD2, GPX1, CAT and HO1), transcription factor NFE2L2 signaling pathway (PIK3CA/AKT1/MTOR). However, detailed mechanisms curcumin-mediated re-sensitization in still need further exploration. Combination therapy has been considered one of the most promising approaches for improving therapeutic effects anticancer drugs. This is first study that uses two different antioxidants in full-characterized niosomal formulation and thoroughly evaluates their synergistic on breast cancer cells. In this study, in-silico studies hydrophilic hydrophobic drugs (ascorbic acid: Asc curcumin: Cur) interactions release were investigated validated by a set vitro experiments to reveal significant improvement using co-delivery approach nanocarrier. The nanoparticles containing surfactants (Span 60 Tween 60) cholesterol at 2:1 M ratio prepared through film hydration method.
