Cellular metabolic activities are controlled by pathways catalyzed enzymes, closely regulated signal transduction through induction or inhibition processes. Metabolic disorders and cellular dysregulation often linked to redox-dependent signaling in a complex relationship. Glutathione (GSH) polyphenols which known regulators of redox homeostasis have been studied immensely. However, no study has considered their potential interactions synergies as novel mechanisms control disorders. GSH does not only act an antioxidant, but ligand that binds inactivate enzymes toxins. Also, depending on environment, structure, pH, concentration availability transition metals high charge density, may possess either anti-oxidant pro-oxidant properties. Owing remarkable influence individual compounds, this the between disease management. Generally, both reduce oxidative stress normal cells under exacerbating conditions low GSH/GSSG ratio, induce apoptotic abnormal cells. In livestock production, ruminant feed resources are often scarce, and numerous challenges arise during such as immune disorders oxidative stress. Mulberry leaves rich in various nutrients exhibit significant antioxidant immune-regulating properties. Therefore, they can be used an unconventional resource production. This study investigated the effects of mulberry (ML) a supplement on blood biochemical parameters hindgut microbial structure Hu sheep. Sixteen sheep were randomly divided into two groups fed either 0 or 60 g/d ML. Compared to control group, ML showed increase AKP ( P = 0.027) GPT 0.002) levels blood, while TP 0.001) decreased significantly. Additionally, there was increasing trend GSH-Px 0.082) CAT 0.058) levels. The interplay between functional food nutrients and neurosteroids has garnered significant attention for its potential to enhance stress resilience in health and/or disease. Several bioactive nutrients, including medicinal herbs, flavonoids, bioavailable polyphenol-combined nanoparticles, as well probiotics, vitamin D omega-3 fatty acids, have been shown improve blood-brain barrier (BBB) dysfunction, endogenous neurosteroid homeostasis brain function. These can inhibit oxidative neuroinflammation, which are linked the pathogenesis of various neurological disorders. Interestingly, flavonoids exhibit dose-dependent effects, activating nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) pathway at physiological/low dose (neurohormesis). This leads upregulation antioxidant phase II genes proteins such heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) sirtuin-1 (Sirt1), activated by curcumin resveratrol, respectively. adaptive neuronal response mechanisms help protect against reactive oxygen species (ROS) neurotoxicity. Impaired Nrf2 hormone signaling exacerbate selective vulnerability neuroinflammatory conditions, contributing onset progression neurodegenerative psychiatric disorders, Alzheimer's disease, anxiety depression other due neurons stress. review focuses on targeting redox regulate BBB damage associated with altered GABAergic neurotransmission. By exploring underlying molecular using innovative technologies, we aim develop promising neuroprotective strategies personalized nutritional neuroregenerative therapies prevent or attenuate ultimately promoting health.

Phytoestrogens are secondary plant metabolites that structurally analogous to endogenous oestrogens and bind Bovine G Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) in animals. Their interaction with GPCRs activates intracellular signalling cascades, such as the cAMP/PKA pathway, which plays a crucial role ovarian follicle development luteinisation. These interactions may enhance reproductive performance by improving fertility, synchronising estrous cycles, promoting ovulation. also influence regularity timing of cycle, offering potential applications synchronisation management. In this study, molecular docking was conducted on 12,000 phytochemicals identify GPCR ligands. From extensive screening, five compounds highest binding affinities were selected. Notably, Genistein Apigenin emerged top candidates, scores (-8.58 kcal/mol -8.27 kcal/mol) lower RMSD values (0.69 1.30) compared synthetic agonists Estradiol (-6.07 1.02), respectively. Molecular dynamics simulations (MDS) confirmed stability these phytoestrogen -GPCR complexes, suggesting effective sustained interactions. The screened phytoestrogens demonstrated favourable pharmacokinetic profiles, including non-toxicity, non-carcinogenicity, high gastrointestinal absorption, positioning them viable candidates for enhancing dairy cattle through modulation. findings suggest could be used feed additives improve outcomes, novel approach modulate pathways
