Breast cancer survivors with obesity are at a high risk of recurrence, comorbidity, and mortality. This review aims to systematically evaluate the effects combined aerobic resistance training (CART) on body composition, lipid homeostasis, inflammation, adipokines, cancer-related fatigue, sleep, quality life in breast patients overweight/obesity. An electronic search was conducted PubMed, Web Science, Scopus, Science Direct, Cochrane, Google Scholar databases from inception up January 8, 2024. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) meeting inclusion criteria were selected for analysis. The Cochrane bias tool used assess eligible studies, GRADE method evidence. A random-effects model used, data analyzed using mean (MD) standardized differences (SMD) continuous variables 95% confidence intervals (CI). We assessed bias, heterogeneity, sensitivity, reporting total 17 randomized included systematic involving 1,148 female (mean age: 54.0 ± 3.4 years). primary outcomes showed significant improvements mass index (SMD -0.57 kg/m

Abstract Background Approximately 30% of post-operative breast cancer patients develop shoulder joint movement disorders affecting routine upper limb movement. This study discusses the impact a neuromuscular facilitation (NJF) method on physical function experiencing dysfunction during chemotherapy after radical surgery. Methods included 162 female who have unilateral in hospital China. They developed mobility within 1–3 months postoperatively. These were divided into three groups: NJF, conventional rehabilitation (conventional group), and control groups. The clinical examination maximum passive active range motion (ROM) (flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, external internal rotation). Other evaluations pain score using visual analog scale (VAS), grip strength, supraspinatus muscle thickness. All tests evaluated pre-and post-intervention. Results NJF group showed significant increase all ROM angles In group, other values increased significantly, except rotation ROM. groups had decreased VAS scores, thickness post-intervention abduction. contraction rate significantly at 60° 90° abduction compared to that pre-intervention. Conclusion revealed positive intervention effects, improving disorders, pain, following Clinical trial registration Chinese Trial Registry; https://www.chictr.org.cn/ (ChiCTR2300073170), registered (03/07/2023).

Objective To examine the comprehensive health impacts of exercise on people with cancer by systematically summarising existing evidence and assessing strength reliability associations. Design Umbrella review meta-analyses. Data source PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Web Science databases were searched from their inception to 23 July 2024. Eligibility criteria for selecting studies Meta-analyses randomised controlled trials that investigated associations between outcomes among cancer. Results This umbrella identified 485 80 articles, all evaluated as moderate high quality using A Measurement Tool Assess Systematic Reviews (AMSTAR). Two hundred sixty (53.6%) statistically significant (p<0.05), 81/485 (16.7%) supported high-certainty according Grading Recommendations Assessment, Development, Evaluation criteria. Compared usual care or no exercise, moderate- view significantly mitigates adverse events associated its treatments (eg, cardiac toxicity, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, cognitive impairment dyspnoea). Exercise also modulates body composition biomarkers insulin, insulin-like growth factor-1, factor-binding protein-1 C-reactive protein) in cancer, enhances sleep quality, psychological well-being, physiological functioning social interaction, while improving overall life. Conclusion reduces well-being through a range

Objectives: This study aimed understand role nurses specializing in nursing women who have had mastectomy. Methods: was qualitative, exploratory descriptive study. participants included seven provided structured narratives about their experiences care strategies interviews were analyzed by thematic categorization via content analysis. Results: Three categories emerged: meaning care, professional intervention health gains. Care seen as developmental person-centered experience, with focus preventing complications. interventions prioritize personalized projects, emotional support self-care training. Breast cancer treatment has improved significantly, contributing to a 5-year relative survival rate of 99% for localized cases. However, post-treatment survivors are reported have significantly poor cardiovascular fitness which affects their health-related quality life (HRQoL). In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), evidence practice addressing concerns is scarce. To analyse changes in cardiorespiratory and HRQoL domains breast UAE using 2-month physical rehabilitation program. DESIGN: Parallel-group, randomized controlled trial PARTICIPANTS AND SETTING: The study included who were treated with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, aged 18-65 years, able provide informed consent. Participants recruited by referral from Al Tawam Hospital, national center oncology, Dubai Hospital. intervention group (IG) received supervised program focusing on aerobic training 2 sessions 3 at-home per week. held at Thumbay Physical Therapy Rehabilitation control (CG) standard care facility.
