The outbreak of COVID-19 has altered the way language instruction. Vocabulary learning is an essential aspect and teaching process that needs careful attention consideration. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a drastic shift of face-to-face teaching and learning to remote/online at all levels education worldwide. Active student engagement is always challenging task for educators regardless the modalities. degree challenge active increases significantly in learning. This paper presents framework that implements activities/strategies ensure during this pandemic. structure developed combines balanced use adjusted pedagogy, educational technologies, an e-learning management system. Teaching pedagogy involves various techniques, synchronous teaching, asynchronous segmentation. such as Google Meet, Jamboard, Chat, Breakout room, Mentimeter, Moodle, electronic writing devices, etc., enable engagement. Analysis 1,816 publications (1,745 articles 71 reviews) from Web Science demonstrated growing interests field core field. Bibliographic coupling identified eight research fronts, with a particular emphasis on established flipped (FL) pedagogy expanding influence mobile assisted (MALL) digital game-based (DGBL).
