Academic
misconduct
is
ubiquitous,

crisis

The
present
research
examines
undergraduates’
learning
motivation,
based
on
Self-Determination
Theory
and
personality
traits
factors,
according
to
the
Big
Five
Factor
Model,
affecting
academic
across
different
time
spans:
Before,
during,
after
life-changing
event.
Using
online
questionnaires,
we
measured
level
of
misconduct,
1090
social
sciences
students
five
spans
pre-COVID-19,
COVID-19
(before
vaccination),
(post
long
post).
results
showed
significant
differences
in
students’
self-reported
levels
among
periods
similar
pre-COVID-19
post-COVID-19.
Additionally,
findings
exhibited
that
external
motivation
significantly
increases
two

(agreeableness
emotional
stability)
reduce
their
occurrences.
We
conclude
higher
education
preparedness
for
integrity
an
emergency
still
desideratum

concerns

be
abandoned
but
rather
