Abstract Background: In China, people pay more and attention to their body image, most have a negative attitude towards appearance. This study aimed explore the relationship of self-control, intuitive eating, sociocultural attitudes appearance among Chinese college students. We further assess whether eating mediates association between research self-control Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted 1510 students in medical university during September–December 2020. Self-administered questionnaires including Self-control Scale (SCS), Intuitive Eating Scale-2 (IES-2), Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire-3 (SATAQ-3) were completed by Correlation, multiple linear regression, structural equation modeling used data analyses. Results: The mean score 43.91±7.74 participants. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, students increasingly used online platforms with webcams, leading to a phenomenon known as Zoom dysmorphia, where users felt discomfort regarding their appearance. This study aimed explore how students' self-efficacy and dysmorphic concern influence zoom dysmorphia. cross-sectional correlational was conducted in 2021–2022 at Jahrom University of Medical Sciences, IRAN. The employed three questionnaires: dysmorphia (31-items), Self-efficacy (17-items), Dysmorphic Concern (7-items). Data collection done using an questionnaire, sample size estimated 250 based on Cochran's formula. Questionnaires were sent through emails randomly stratified across different faculties. data analyzed IBM SPSS Statistics (Version 24), utilizing one-sample t-tests, independent groups ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, linear regression techniques.
