Objectives: The pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) seriously affected psychological, economic, and social aspects life. We aimed to compare the clinical characteristics children with new-onset type 1 diabetes mellitus diagnosed in lockdown period profile those before pandemic. Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases worldwide. Regular monitoring of public awareness diabetes is necessary to provide effective educational and preventive strategies.
