In recent years, green extraction of bioactive compounds from herbal medicines has generated widespread interest. Deep eutectic solvents (DES) have widely replaced traditional organic in the process. this study, efficiencies eight DESs extracting flavonoids Acanthopanax senticosus (AS) were compared. Response surface methodology (RSM) was employed to optimize independent variable including ultrasonic power, water content, solid-liquid ratio, temperature, and time. DES composed glycerol levulinic acid (1:1) chosen as most suitable medium. Optimal conditions power 500 W, content 28%, ratio 1:18 g·mL-1, temperature 55 °C, time 73 min. The yield total reached 23.928 ± 0.071 mg·g-1, which 40.7% higher compared with ultrasonic-assisted ethanol extraction. Macroporous resin (D-101, HPD-600, S-8 AB-8) used recover extracts. AB-8 showed adsorption/desorption performance, a recovery rate up 71.56 0.256%. addition, solvent could efficiently be reused twice. summary, combined macroporous enrichment method is exceptionally effective recovering AS, provides promising environmentally friendly recyclable strategy for flavonoid natural plant sources.
