The non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density ratio (NHHR) is a newly developed lipid parameter. However, the current research has only explored relationship with lumbar spine bone mineral density, lacking studies on density at other sites, total body and an analysis of risk factors. This study aims determine potential association between NHHR BMD, increase awareness impact levels health. By utilizing data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2011 2018, we conducted univariate generalized linear models (GLMs) analysis, stratified threshold effect smooth curve fitting investigate BMD. were categorized into tertiles (low, medium, high) based their distribution among population. included 8,671participants, have shown, exhibits correlation (BMD). In BMI subgroup, significantly negatively correlated BMD multiple sites in low-to-middle group (BMI <25 kg/m2), while no significant found high ≥30 kg/m2). gender more pronounced male mainly reflected reduction age negative strongest younger (18-30 years), gradually weakening middle-aged (31-44 years) older groups (45-59 years). Further suggests that dyslipidemia may influence metabolism through pathways such as inflammation oxidative stress. (BMD) varies by BMI, gender, age. controlling be intervention target for health management, particularly individuals males, populations. These findings offer new perspective provide scientific evidence development personalized osteoporosis prevention treatment strategies.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory disease characterized by a variety of symptoms and pathologies often presenting with polyarthritis. The primary symptom in the initial stage joint swelling due to synovitis. With progression, cartilage bone are affected cause deformities. Advanced osteoarticular destruction deformation can irreversible physical disabilities. Physical disabilities not only deteriorate patients’ quality life but also have substantial medical economic effects on society. Therefore, prevention progression important task. Recent studies progressively improved our understanding molecular mechanism which synovitis caused immune disorders results activation osteoclasts; activated osteoclasts turn para-articular osteoporosis. In this paper, we review mechanisms metabolism under physiological RA conditions, describe therapeutic intervention against bone.

Abstract The musculoskeletal system supports the movement of entire body and provides blood production while acting as an endocrine organ. With aging, balance bone homeostasis is disrupted, leading to loss degenerative diseases, such osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, intervertebral disc degeneration. Skeletal diseases have a profound impact on motor cognitive abilities elderly, thus creating major challenge for both global health economy. Cellular senescence caused by various genotoxic stressors results in permanent cell cycle arrest, which considered be underlying mechanism aging. During senescent cells (SnCs) tend aggregate trigger chronic inflammation releasing senescence-associated secretory phenotypic factors. Multiple signalling pathways are involved regulating cellular marrow microenvironments. Targeted SnCs alleviate age-related diseases. However, association between remains unclear. This review summarises fundamental role skeletal highlights that mediate senescence, discusses potential therapeutic strategies targeting SnCs. Graphical

Inadequate osteogenesis and excessive adipogenesis of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) are key factors in the pathogenesis osteoporosis.Patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) have a higher incidence osteoporosis than healthy adults, but underlying mechanism is not clear. Here, we show that brain-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) from adult AD or wild-type mice can cross blood-brain barrier to reach distal tissue, while only EVs (AD-B-EVs) significantly promote shift BMSC differentiation fate induce bone-fat imbalance.MiR-483-5p highly enriched AD-B-EVs, brain tissues mice, plasma-derived patients. This miRNA mediates anti-osteogenic, pro-adipogenic, pro-osteoporotic effects AD-B-EVs by inhibiting Igf2.This study identifies role B-EVs as promoter transferring miR-483-5p.
