Abstract
Background
Selenium
is
a
trace
element
essential
for
the
normal
functions
of
different
human
body
systems
and
its
deficiency
has
been
associated
with
disease
states.
In
recent
years,
many
systematic
reviews
randomized
clinical
trials
in
humans
have
demonstrated
various
properties
selenium
such
as
antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory,
increased
immunity,
blocking
tumour
invasion
metastasis
pathological
conditions.
Therefore,
there
need
to
summarize
these
findings
one
single
paper
facilitate
decision
making
clinicians
policy
makers
regarding
inclusion
supplementation
routine
practice,
treatment
guidelines
medicine
list.
