Artificial light at night (ALAN) is a growing environmental issue associated with negative health outcomes. Yet, there dearth of evidence concerning its effect on blood pressure (BP), especially in Ghana. This study examined the associations between ALAN, pressure, and hypertension. The used data from 13,784 participants 2014 Ghana Demographic Health Survey (GDHS). VIIRS Nighttime Day/Night Band dataset within Google Earth was to assess ALAN. Data BP were obtained GDHS.
