Berries from the Vaccinium genus, known for their rich array of bioactive metabolites, are recognized antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties. These compounds, including anthocyanins, flavonoids, phenolic acids, have attracted significant attention potential health benefits, particularly in cancer prevention treatment. Gastric (GC), a leading cause cancer-related deaths worldwide, remains challenging to treat, especially its advanced stages. This study investigates therapeutic species GC treatment using computational methods. RNA sequencing revealed upregulated genes associated with GC, while network pharmacology molecular docking approaches identified strong interactions between cyanidin 3-O-glucoside (C3G), key metabolite. Furthermore, dynamics simulations HSP90AA1-C3G complex demonstrated stable binding structural integrity, suggesting that C3G may inhibit HSP90AA1, protein involved progression. findings highlight offering novel approach by targeting pathways. research provides valuable insights into role berries as natural therapeutics, supporting integration future gastric strategies.

Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), referred to as inflammatory bowel (IBD), pose considerable challenges in treatment because they are chronic conditions that easily relapse. The occurrence of IBD continues rise developing countries. Nonetheless, the existing therapies for have limitations fail address needs patients thoroughly. There is an increasing need new, safe, highly effective alternative medications patients. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) employed drug development management due its wide-range biological activities, minimal toxicity, limited side effects. Extensive research has shown certain TCM exhibits significant therapeutic benefits treatments. Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) was used clinical settings IBD. Bioactive metabolites L. japonica, such luteolin, quercetin, cyanidin, chlorogenic acid (CGA), caffeic (CA), saponin, exhibit managing honeysuckle flower a potential candidate anti-inflammatory, immune system-regulating, antioxidant qualities. This review examines the neuroprotective potential of paddy rice bioactive compounds, with a focus on antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroregenerative properties that may aid in preventing neurodegenerative diseases. Key compounds analyzed include tocotrienols, gamma-oryzanol, phenolic acids. We conducted comprehensive existing studies detailing mechanisms by which bioactives support brain health. These were examined for their effects oxidative stress reduction, neuroinflammation modulation, neurotransmitter regulation, neurogenesis promotion. Bioactives such as gamma-oryzanol ferulic acid found to decrease neuroinflammatory markers function. Research shows enhance neural resilience cognitive function, suggesting role managing disorders like Parkinson's Alzheimer's disease. While preclinical evidence underscores therapeutic promise bioactives, further clinical are needed confirm efficacy, establish optimal dosages, improve bioavailability. advocates advanced nutraceutical development using bridge findings applications.

Purpose: Due to the diverse biological activities attributed its antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, and cytoprotective properties, cyanidin-3-glucoside (Cy3G) has been widely studied. The present study was conducted investigate effects of Cy3G supplementation on redox balance disruption during acute exercise. Materials Methods: To this end, 28 male Balb-C mice were divided into four groups: control, exercise, Cy3G, exercise+Cy3G. During experimental period, in exercise+Cy3G groups administered 5 mg per kg body weight, while control exercise fed standard chow. trained treadmill for 10 min every day at speed m/min 2 weeks. On 15th day, an exhaustion applied. Then, all sacrificed, serum samples taken analyze native thiol, total disulfide, thiol-disulfide indices. Results: findings showed that combination significantly increased thiol levels decreased disulfide compared other groups. However, it did not cause any change levels. Native measured as 114.6±64.1, 106.4 ±57.9, 200.1±84.2, 262.1±105.9; Disulfide determined 253.2±71.6, 257.4±31.5, 213.8±44.8 188.4±32.2; Total 621.1±116.1, 621.2±100.1, 627.7±125.8 639.0±105.3 (respectively; exercise+Cy3G). Conclusion: can potentially maintain by supporting antioxidant defense systems reducing oxidative stress. use may have a positive effect preventing exercise-induced stress fatigue.
