Abstract Photoresponsive drug delivery systems (PDDSs) have emerged as a promising toolbox for delivery, offering precise control over the site, duration, and dosage of light‐triggered medication. Despite progress in designing different PDDSs, clinical translation has been limited due to obstacles.
