Traumas
na
região
da
órbita
podem
gerar
uma
fratura
orbital
isolada
ou
associada
aos
ossos
adjacentes.
Dentre
as
possibilidades
de
tratamento
para
fraturas
do
assoalho
existem
vários
acessos
cirúrgicos
e
materiais
reconstrução
como
enxertos
cartilagem
costal
calota
craniana,
polietileno
poroso,
implantes
reabsorvíveis,
malha
titânio.
O
objetivo
deste
trabalho
é
apresentar
alternativa
acesso
transsinusal
(mais
estético
se
comparado
diretos
em
pele)
através
um
dispositivo
intitulado
Palafita.
Trata-se
relato
série
casos,
com
delineamento
descritivo,
sem
grupo
controle,
caráter
narrativo
reflexivo,
cujos
dados
são
provenientes
prática
clínica.
Em
todos
os
casos
relatados
neste
estudo,
pacientes
evoluíram
reversão
dos
sinais
sintomas
ocasionados
pelo
trauma
após
a
cirurgia,
especial
atenção
à
enoftalmia,
que
o
grande
desafio
correção
muitos
cirurgiões.
A
técnica
Palafita
mostra
mais
indicada
onde
busca
evitar
cicatriz,
especial,
há
quantidade
conteúdo
herniado
seio
maxilar,
permite
sua
recuperação
órbita.
