Nanoplastics (NPs) affect fertility. We evaluated the effects of NPs treatment on luteal and endothelial cells. examined crucial markers growth redox status. did not induce changes in ATP levels cells, while it increased (p< 0.05) their proliferation. In no change proliferation was detected, an increase (p<0.05) observed. The reactive oxygen species, superoxide anion nitric oxide (p<0.001) detected both cell types, which also showed dismutase enzyme activity as well non-enzymatic antioxidant power (p<0.05). A decrease progesterone production vascular factor were addition, a dose-dependent accumulation cells shown, that likely occurred through adhesion internalization. Results underline potential risk for corpus luteum functionality.

The potential health risks posed by the coexistence of nanoplastics (NPs) and triclosan (TCS) have garnered significant attention. However, effects underlying mechanisms NPs TCS on key functional proteins at molecular level remain poorly understood. This study reports effect polystyrene (PSNPs) binding to human serum albumin (HSA) using multispectral methods simulation systems. experimental results show that significantly inhibits HSA esterase activity, with exacerbating inhibition in presence PSNPs, which is attributed alteration conformation microenvironment amino acid residues induced PSNPs. Molecular docking site marker competitive studies indicate predominantly binds I subdomain Sudlow II PSNPs does not affect sites. Spectra analyses quenching mechanism between belongs static type change fluorescence type. conformational alterations are further enhanced indicating enhance making more accessible provides valuable information about toxicity case co-exposure.

In relation to the eye, body can absorb substances from ocular surface fluid (OSF) in a few ways: directly through conjunctival sac, nasal mucosa as drains into nose, or ingestion. Regardless of absorption method, sac should be used toxicological matrix, even though only small quantities are needed. Contemporary analytical techniques make it suitable matrix for research. Analyzing and nano-quantities analyte requires high-cost, sophisticated tools, which is particularly relevant high-throughput environment new drug cosmetics testing. Environmental toxicology also presents challenge, many pollutants enter system using same route. A review existing literature was conducted assess potential applications clinical forensic related toxicants surface. The selection studies this aimed identify new, more efficient, cost-effective technology diagnostic methods.

Abstract Background Nanoplastics (NPs) have emerged as significant environmental pollutants, raising concerns due to their ubiquitous presence and potential adverse effects on human health. The migration fate of NPs in the environment are subjects intense study, with exposure pathways expanding through ingestion, inhalation, dermal contact. Body Studies indicate that can infiltrate cardiovascular system, potentially causing effects. Mechanistic insights from vitro animal studies suggest oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction contribute nanoplastic-induced toxicity. Animal models demonstrate altered heart rate, myocardial fibrosis, following exposure, specific observed cardiac valves structure. Clinical provide further evidence accumulation tissues, implications for pathologies such atherosclerosis infarction. Notably, patients higher levels nanoplastics carotid plaque exhibit an increased risk outcomes. Conclusion However, challenges studying persist, including methodological limitations, ethical considerations, need standardized detection methods. Addressing these requires interdisciplinary collaboration, innovative research approaches, robust regulatory measures mitigate pollution protect
