Menopause is associated with an increased prevalence of obesity, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, and osteoporosis. These diseases unfavorable laboratory values, which are characteristic this period in women, can be significantly improved by eliminating reducing dietary risk factors. Changing habits during perimenopause most effectively achieved through nutrition counseling intervention. To reduce the factors all these case already existing disease, therapy led a dietitian should integral part treatment. The following review summarizes recommendations for balanced diet fluid intake, prevention role sleep, key preventive nutrients menopause, such as vitamin D, calcium, C, B vitamins, protein intake. In summary, many lifestyle developing (cardiovascular insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, tumors) symptoms period.

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a harmful environmental contaminant known to disrupt gut microbiota and cause health problems. In recent years, the role of vitamin B6 (VB6) in maintaining intestinal reproductive has attracted much attention. AFB1 been found damage barrier inflammation by disrupting microbiota, particularly increasing abundance Enterococcus. mice treated with AFB1, serum metabolites were disturbed, VB6 levels reduced, testicular was exacerbated. Enterococcus exposure leads reduction levels, which accompanied damage. However, supplementation significantly ameliorated AFB1-induced injury. Transcriptomics Western blotting showed that after exposure, could increase expression phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) kinase B (AKT) as well their phosphorylated forms testes mice. Based on results, disturbing represents potential therapeutic counteract this conclusion, adequate can ameliorate damage, emphasizing importance intervention providing new perspective for prevention treatment AFB1-related issues.

Abstract Wild animals may encounter multiple challenges especially food shortage and altered diet composition in their suboptimal ranges. Yet, how the gut microbiome responds to dietary changes remains poorly understood. Prior studies on wild animal microbiomes have typically leaned upon relatively coarse records individually unresolved fecal samples. Here, we conducted a longitudinal study integrating 514 time-series recognized samples with parallel fine-grained data from two Skywalker hoolock gibbon ( Hoolock tianxing ) groups populating high-altitude mountainous forests western Yunnan Province, China. 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing showed remarkable seasonal fluctuation gibbons’ microbial community structure both across individuals between social groups, driven by relative abundances of Lanchnospiraceae Oscillospiraceae associated fluctuating consumption leaf. Metagenomic functional profiling revealed that diverse metabolisms cellulose degradation short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) production were enriched high-leaf periods possibly compensate for energy intake. Genome-resolved metagenomics further enabled resolving metabolic capacities carbohydrate breakdown among members which exhibited high degree redundancy. Our results highlight taxonomically functionally sensitive actively responding seasonally shifting diet, facilitating survival reproduction endangered species habitats.

Green pea hull is a processing byproduct of green and rich in polyphenols. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) chronic metabolic characterized by accumulation lipids the for which there are no effective treatment strategies. Here, mouse model NAFLD induced DSS+high-fat diet (HFD) was established to investigate effect polyphenol extract (EGPH). The results show that EGPH relief combined effect, including reducing hepatic fat accumulation, improving antioxidant activity blood lipid metabolism, maintaining glucose homeostasis. Increased intestinal permeability aggravated NAFLD. Combined metabolomics transcriptomic analysis showed vitamin B6 key target substance alleviate NAFLD, it may be flora metabolite. After intervention, level mice significantly increased, more than 60% enters liver, activated or inhibited PPAR TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathways relieve Our research could win–win expanding use search prophylactic drugs.
