Abstract Background: Cancer patients may enhance their physical function and quality of life via exercise. However, there are few quantitative data to determine if exercise is safe effective for the with bone metastases. Methods: Embase, PubMed Cochrane Controlled Trials Register Databases were searched May 5, 2022. Results: 692 items found. Five studies totaling 234 included in analysis after thorough screening. The interventions soccer, aerobic exercise, resistance training. There no adverse effects connected results mixed-efficacy study showed that improved mineral density more than regular nursing (P=0.009). It also had a clinically significant effect on body composition pain, but was difference between groups (P > 0.05). Conclusions: Exercise seems be people metastases, it can increase density, improve composition, alleviate pain.

We proposed the Physical Activity and Cancer Control (PACC) framework in 2007 to help organise, focus, stimulate research on physical activity eight cancer control categories: prevention, detection, treatment preparation/coping, coping/effectiveness, recovery/rehabilitation, disease prevention/health promotion, palliation, survival. This perspective paper provides a high-level overview of scientific advances across categories, summarises current guidelines, updates PACC framework, identifies remaining emerging knowledge gaps, future directions. Many have been made that are reflected updated guidelines for six categories apart from detection palliation. Nevertheless, minimal optimal type, dose, timing remain unknown, especially understudied population subgroups defined by age, race/ethnicity, resource level regions/countries. To achieve full benefit control, should use innovative study designs include diverse at-risk populations sites. Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers constitute over 25% of global cancer cases annually, with hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) presenting particularly poor prognosis and challenging surgical treatments. While advancements in clinical care have improved post-operative outcomes time, surgery for HPB remains associated high morbidity mortality rates. Patients are often older, diagnosed at later stages, a higher prevalence co-morbid conditions, leading to reduced life expectancy, suboptimal recovery, increased recurrence risk. Exercise nutrition interventions emerged as safe non-pharmacological strategies enhance among survivors, but their potential the pre-operative period patients underexplored. Background/Objectives: Paclitaxel is a type of small molecule chemotherapy widely used for breast cancer, but its clinical efficacy often hindered by dose-limiting toxicities such as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and neutropenia. Traditional dosing based on body surface area does not account variations in composition, which may influence paclitaxel metabolism, toxicity, treatment outcomes. This review explores the interplay between physical activity, pharmacokinetics, emphasizing potential personalized strategies. Methods: A comprehensive narrative was conducted analyzing literature chemotherapy-related toxicities, exercise oncology. Studies examining role skeletal muscle mass, adipose tissue, activity modulating metabolism side effects were included. Results: Evidence suggests that patients with low mass are at higher risk paclitaxel-induced due to altered drug distribution clearance. Sarcopenic obesity, characterized high-fat levels, further exacerbates these risks. Exercise, particularly resistance aerobic training, has been shown improve mitigate enhance tolerance. However, precise mechanisms influences pharmacokinetics remain underexplored. Conclusions: Personalized dosing, considering composition optimize Future research should focus integrating interventions into oncology care refining models interindividual differences metabolism. These advancements could while minimizing cancer patients.

Abstract Purpose of Review The goal this review was to examine the role and practical applications integrative oncology strategies in supporting immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) treatment adult solid tumours. Recent Findings Beyond tumour-intrinsic factors, several patient-associated factors affect ICI response, including germline genetics, systemic inflammation, gut microbiota, diet. Current promising supportive interventions include a Mediterranean-style diet with over 20 g fibre, regular exercise, use live biotherapeutics, minimisation PPI antibiotic use, ensuring vitamin D repletion, many other approaches under study. Caution around medical cannabis patients on ICIs is advised due previously documented adverse impact overall survival, while VAE ( Viscum album extract) therapy studies have not highlighted any safety concerns so far. Summary With expanding it important investigate apply low-cost support better outcomes minimise events.
