Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is the most common malignant tumor of biliary system with worst prognosis. Even after radical surgery, majority patients GBC have difficulty achieving a clinical cure. The risk recurrence remains more than 65%, and overall 5-year survival rate less 5%. gut microbiota refers to variety microorganisms living in human intestine, including bacteria, viruses fungi, which profoundly affect host state general health, disease even cancer. Over past few decades, substantial evidence has supported that plays critical role promoting progression GBC. Processed foods are that undergo physical, chemical, or biological processes to enhance durability, extend shelf life, improve taste and texture, alter nutritional content, facilitate consumption. While traditional processed preserved packaged through methods such as canning salting, ultra-processed (UPFs) industrially produced formulations ready-to-eat ready-to-heat typically contain little no whole food ingredients. Recent evidence suggests the adverse health effects of UPFs may not only be due nutrients they provide but also non-nutritive components their impact on gut health. Diets rich in associated with cellular changes leading oxidative stress, which turn contributes inflammation aging processes. Diet plays a complex role in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), significantly influencing microbiome and metabolome. Three key metabolites implicated IBD are short chain fatty acids, bile acids tryptophan, all which can be modulated through diet. This study analyses impact various diets on these metabolites. Despite anti-inflammatory effects their levels do not increase during successful remission with exclusive enteral nutrition. Additionally, changes tryptophan non-specific across different diets, suggesting metabolic shifts secondary to dietary efficacy IBD. Dietary therapies vary individuals, as established may produce desired variability is further compounded by differences immune responses influenced genetic factors duration. Furthermore, inflammation symptom resolution always coincide, revealing discrepancy impacts These limitations highlight need for deeper understanding interconnectedness heterogeneity, effects, microbiome, influence mucosal system develop more personalised therapies. While no single diet universally effective patients, future research should focus establishing rigid definition interventions long-term clinical outcomes.

ABSTRACT The EAT‐Lancet Commission recommends a sustainable, health‐focused diet, but its impact on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and metabolic mechanisms remains unclear. This study explores the association between diet IBD risk. We included 187 558 participants from UK Biobank, free at baseline. Dietary intake was assessed using validated 24‐h dietary recall, an score calculated. Incident cases were identified through primary care, hospital data, death registries. Cox proportional hazards models used to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Over mean follow‐up of 13.15 years, 571 Crohn's (CD) 1066 ulcerative colitis (UC) recorded. HRs per 1‐point increase in 0.95 (95% CI: 0.91–0.98) for IBD, 0.91–1.00) UC, 0.93 0.87–0.98) CD. Seven metabolites as mediators, accounting 10.7% association. Greater adherence associated with trend toward reduced risk, mediating this These findings emphasize nutritional relevance reducing

Participants were MD, MD + curcumin, groups. All participants placed for 8 weeks. The group also received 1600 mg/day whereas 500 supplementation Anthropometric measurements, Truelove–Witts Index, Short Form-36, Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire, Diet Adherence Scale (MEDAS), laboratory tests performed at baseline postintervention. Within-group comparisons showed that interventions effective reducing activity inflammation improving individuals UC (p < 0.05). Objective To investigate the association between dietary and some other environmental factors risk of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) in Chinese population. Materials methods A multicenter case-control study was conducted involving 11 hospitals across China. total 1,230 subjects were enrolled consecutively, diet factor questionnaires collected. IBD patients matched with healthy controls (HC) using propensity-score matching (PSM) at a 1:1 ratio caliper value 0.02. Multivariate conditional logistic regression analyses performed to evaluate associations diet, factors, IBD. Results Moderate alcohol milk consumption, as well daily intake fresh fruit, protective for both Crohn's disease (CD) ulcerative colitis (UC). Conversely, consumption eggs chocolate increased Outdoor time more than 25% day only CD. In eastern regions China, CD had higher egg less outdoor time, while UC consumed chocolate. from urban areas or per capita monthly income eggs, Conclusions This reveals an specific foods, emergence The findings emphasize importance balanced sufficient activities, tailored prevention strategies considering regional variations.
