Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is a premalignant cervical condition closely linked to persistent high-risk HPV infection, major risk factor for cancer. This study aims investigate the relationship between cervicovaginal infections, and CIN development in 94 Romanian women with lesions. Comprehensive assessments included genotyping, cytology, colposcopy, histopathology. In 53.20% of cases, vaginal infections were identified, Candida albicans most frequently associated HPV. Histopathology revealed 48.94% low-grade CIN, 42.55% high-grade 8.51% invasive carcinoma. There was strong correlation types (especially 16 18), colposcopic findings, histopathology, age. emphasizes mutual effect infection increasing developing cancer among women. Persistent types, particularly 18, has been confirmed as primary driver progression.

Background/Objectives: Edwards syndrome, or trisomy 18, is a severe chromosomal disorder marked by numerous congenital anomalies, including micrognathia. This study evaluated the diagnostic significance of micrognathia as prenatal indicator for 18 through case series involving five confirmed instances. Methods: Ultrasound assessments concentrated on inferior facial angle (IFA) and jaw index, supplemented Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) karyotyping. Results: Micrognathia was consistently identified alongside other reinforcing its reliability an ultrasound marker 18. Published: March 13, 2025

Background: The relationship between dental implants and sinus mucoceles is an area of growing interest in oral maxillofacial surgery, as therapeutic approaches for these conditions remain controversial. This case report presents a 48-year-old male with no significant medical history who sought care due to recurrent abscesses on the distal abutment five-unit maxillary bridge. Clinical radiographic evaluations, including Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), revealed pathologic lesion associated second molar, insufficient alveolar bone height posterior maxilla, radiopaque mass floor. Methods: A one-stage surgical approach was planned, involving molar extraction, cyst removal, floor elevation, simultaneous implant placement. prosthetic restoration completed six months postoperatively. Results: Over 88-month follow-up period, complications were observed, patient reported high satisfaction restoration’s function aesthetics. Conclusions: highlights single-stage strategy’s feasibility long-term success managing asymptomatic while optimizing placement rehabilitation.

This systematic review aims to synthesize current evidence on whether adequate complex intake or status is associated with improved outcomes. Methods: A search was performed PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science observational studies investigating relation disease indicators. Articles were screened according PRISMA guidelines, five met inclusion criteria. Results: Five included. In older adults, each standard deviation increase serum an approximate 26% reduction odds ratio (OR = 0.74, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.58-0.93). young adult women, inadequate (B2) pyridoxine (B6) correlated higher community index (CPI) scores (p < 0.05). a large NHANES-based cohort, insufficient (B1) yielded 33% likelihood severe periodontitis 0.05), while protective 0.90).
