Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are groups of professionals aimed to improve education through collaborative and systematic reflection on their practice. While PLCs known enhance teachers' professional learning, impact well-being is less understood. This study examines the role in early childhood (ECE) teachers Chile. Using a qualitative single-case approach, PLC 14 participants was analysed over three years. Findings highlight two key aspects: as spaces for emotional support affective relations, place constructed from trust bonds. These elements crucial ECE well-being, emphasising need holistic approach development.

Abstract This study explored the development of teacher leadership in collaborative online spaces, also called virtual communities practice (vCoP). Employing a phenomenological research design with semi-structured interviews as primary data collection method, participants were drawn from single vCoP. The findings underscored pivotal role vCoPs nurturing skills, facilitated by dynamic interplay agency and distributed leadership. Teacher empowers educators to proactively take control their learning journey within vCoPs, enabling them explore areas personal interest expertise, including knowledge sharing project initiation. Simultaneously, teachers assume roles vCoP, irrespective formal positions or seniority, involving activities such guiding discussions organizing professional development. harmonious collaboration between fosters inclusive environment where thrive.

This study investigated the leadership practices of semi-urban middle school leaders in China. Drawing on social exchange theory, this study aims to explore the effects of various leadership practices professional learning communities (PLCs) and mediating role principals' perceived trust by teachers in relationships between PLCs from Chinese perspective. Survey data were collected 739 principals different provinces. To examine proposed model, utilized four-step hierarchical regression, Shapley value decomposition, bootstrap methods. The results indicated that all four components practices, namely setting directions, developing people, redesigning organization managing instructional programme significantly positively affected PLCs, their contribution rates 15.81%, 23.43%, 36.48% 23.25% respectively. Principals' was a significant mediator PLCs. practical implications findings suggestions for future research are discussed.
