Abstract
This
study
explored
the
development
of
teacher
leadership
in
collaborative
online
spaces,
also
called
virtual
communities
practice
(vCoP).
Employing
a
phenomenological
research
design
with
semi-structured
interviews
as
primary
data
collection
method,
participants
were
drawn
from
single
vCoP.
The
findings
underscored
pivotal
role
vCoPs
nurturing
skills,
facilitated
by
dynamic
interplay
agency
and
distributed
leadership.
Teacher
empowers
educators
to
proactively
take
control
their
learning
journey
within
vCoPs,
enabling
them
explore
areas
personal
interest
expertise,
including
knowledge
sharing
project
initiation.
