Purpose Customers increasingly use food delivery applications (FDAs) to place orders. Despite the popularity of FDAs, limited research has investigated drivers continuance intention FDAs. This study aims uncover FDAs by integrating “technology theory” (TCT) with perceived task-technology fit, value and safety. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 398 individuals in Thailand evaluated using “partial least squares” (PLS) “fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis” (fsQCA). Findings The PLS results supported significance all direct relationships, except effects ease on attitude usefulness intention. Accordingly, safety positively moderated impact attitudes. fsQCA uncovered seven solutions various combinations factors that predicted high Practical implications enables apps develop effective strategies for retaining users sustaining financial performance. Originality/value contributes literature investigating underlying continuous a new PLS-fsQCA technique applying TCT technological context, enriching it adding three variables:

In Industry 4.0, the adoption of new technology has played a major role in transportation sector, especially electric vehicles (EVs) domain. Nevertheless, consumer attitudes towards EVs have been difficult to gauge but researchers tried solve this puzzle. The prior literature indicates that individual and factors are vital understanding users’ EVs. Thus, main aim is meticulously investigate unexplored realm EV within nations traditionally reliant on oil, exemplified by Saudia Arabia. By integrating “task fit” (TTF) model “unified theory acceptance usage technology” (UTAUT), research develops empirically validates framework. A cross-section survey approach adopted collect 273 valid questionnaires from customers through convincing sampling. empirical findings confirm integration TTF UTAUT positively promotes Surprisingly, direct effect behavioral intentions insignificant, constructs play significant establishing relationship. Moreover, social influence factor no impact adoption. This groundbreaking offers comprehensive holistic methodology for unravelling complexities adoption, achieved harmonious two well-regarded theoretical frameworks. nascent lies skilful blending technological sector.
