Purpose This study examines the impact of green corporate social responsibility (GCSR) on sustainable development (CSD) in Pakistani small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by investigating mediating roles environmental strategy (ES) innovation (GI), as well moderating effect digital transformation (DT). Design/methodology/approach We surveyed 410 managers employees from diverse SMEs Pakistan. used structural equation modelling (SEM) partial least squares path (Smart-PLS) to analyze data. Findings The results show that GCSR is positively related CSD, with ES GI this relationship. DT moderates relationships between CSD. Practical implications provide valuable insights for SME policymakers.
