In order to maintain integrity of the genome, eukaryotic cells develop a complex DNA damage/ repair response network, which can induce cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, or repair.Chemo-and radiation therapies, act primarily through induction damage, are most commonly used therapies for cancer.Impairment in damage and system that protect from persistent affect therapeutic efficacy cancer. To date, accumulating evidence has suggested long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) involved regulation damage/repair network.LncRNAs have been demonstrated be master regulators genome at transcriptional post-transcriptional levels play key role many physiological pathological processes cells. In this review, we will discuss function lncRNAs regulating cellular damage.

Aberrant expressions of various long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been involved in the progression and pathogenesis carcinomas. However, expression biological function SLCO4A1-AS1 colorectal cancer (CRC) remain poorly understood. Gain- loss-of-function assays were applied to determine roles autophagy CRC progression. qRT-PCR situ hybridization (ISH) results showed that was positively associated with PARD3 tissues. In vitro vivo studies revealed knockdown repressed cytoprotective as assayed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), inhibited cell proliferation directly targeting partition-defective 3 (PARD3). Mechanistically, acted a sponge miR-508-3p, leading upregulation promotion proliferation. The current study demonstrates SLCO4A1-AS1/miR-508-3p/PARD3/autophagy pathway play critical role proliferation, might provide novel targets for developing therapeutic strategies CRC.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have potential applications in clinical diagnosis and targeted cancer therapies. However, the expression profile of lncRNAs colorectal (CRC) initiation is still unclear. In this study, profiles mRNAs were determined by microarray at specific tumour stages an AOM/DSS-induced primary colon model. The temporal was analysed K-means clustering. Additionally, weighted correlation network analysis (WGCNA) gene ontology performed to construct co-expression networks establish functions identified mRNAs. Our results suggested that 4307 5798 are deregulated during CRC initiation. These differential genes (DEGs) exhibited a clear with stage WGCNA series hub involved regulating cell stemness, inflammation, oxidative stress response death each stage. Among them, lncRNA H19 up-regulated tumours correlated poor patient prognosis. Collectively, we been first demonstrate function provide novel therapy targets for CRC.
