Aim . To assess the features of diagnosing heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) using echocardiographic markers and diastolic stress test (DST) according to a survey ultrasound functional diagnostics specialists in Russian Federation. Materials methods As part study, an anonymous 155 diagnostic from various regions was conducted. We proposed answer whether they routinely certain parameters necessary for HFpEF. The also indicated conduct DST have opportunity refer patient this study. Results A frequency analysis responses received carried out. In routine practice, 83,2% measure left ventricular (LV) by Simpson method, 76,1% — Teichholz method. addition, 80% responders analyses LV mass index, relative wall thickness, 60% tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion, 56,8% atrial volume 51.6% E/e´ ratio, 94,8% pulmonary artery pressure, global longitudinal strain 16,1%, 7,7% strain. Also, 9,7% on their own, while 41,3% patients. Conclusion low assessment rate some ultrasonic HFpEF markers among Federation reduces detection It is develop algorithms based mainly clinical anamnestic data available use doctors any specialty.

In most countries worldwide, hypertension (HTN) occupies a leading position in the structure of modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and their complications. One main reasons this trend is increasing prevalence obesity, which becoming an important factor high blood pressure (BP). The results numerous epidemiological studies showed association between obesity (assessed by body mass index (BMI)) BP levels, as well prognostic role BMI relation to development HTN. However, there currently no consensus on criterion that accurately predicts HTN associated Data from prospective observational greater value indirect direct indicators abdominal ectopic visceral adipose tissue. These facts stimulated research aimed at revealing pathophysiological mechanisms patients with overweight are reviewed article.

The novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) caused by the b-coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, and leads to acute respiratory distress-syndrome, has affected more than nineteen million people worldwide, resulting in 0.7 deaths as of August 2020. fact that virus uses angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 a receptor for entering target cell, high prevalence hypertension other cardiovascular diseases among patients with COVID-19, have serious discussions on management such patients. This consensus experts from Russian Medical Society Arterial Hypertension analyzed existing data relationship between COVID-19 hypertension, pathophysiological aspects penetration into cells use renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system inhibitors COVID-19.

The review article examines the issues of obesity regarding its prevalence, phenotypes, course and consequences. anatomical, physiological functional features adipose tissue are discussed. “Discussion” section presents authors’ own clinical observations on therapeutic surgical in treatment obesity. Currently, is divided into white, brown beige. White can turn each other through beige stage. volume activity require greater expenditure metabolism oxygen molecules more pronounced women. components extracellular matrix collagen types I, III, V, VI. structure varies depending location, size fat, age, gender, state kidneys, thyroid gland, nature food, energy sleep patterns. With intense work cold exposure, hormone irisin formed skeletal muscles, which promotes transformation white or beige, helps reduce body weight obesity, has a beneficial effect type 2 diabetes mellitus associated diseases. Traditionally, obese individuals metabolically healthy unhealthy based degree metabolic disorders. In visceral lipolysis occurs with high intensity, supports development inflammation. decreased expression adiponectin accelerates atherosclerotic cardiovascular As increases, acquires an inflammatory phenotype, manifested by increased cytokines (interleukin-6, interleukin-1, interleukin-17, tumor necrosis factor-alpha), hyperactivation renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, as well excessive cell infiltration immune system (leukocytes, neutrophils, T-lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages). During inflammation tissue, (M1) atherogenic (M4) phenotypes macrophages dominate. morbid number reach up to 50% all cells.
