Purpose: We think that possible inactivity and a high risk of smartphone addiction may increase the potential musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapy rehabilitation students before beginning their professional lives. To draw attention to this issue, we aimed investigate relationship between exercise perception, pain, addiction. Material Methods: Demographic data form, Exercise Benefit/Barrier Scale (EBS), Cornell Musculoskeletal Disorder Questionnaire (CMDQ), Smartphone Addiction (SAS) were filled out online by 45 volunteer from Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Department Kırklareli University's Faculty Health Sciences. Results: It was found those who regularly exercised had lower EBS (p=0.031), benefit (p=0. 029) barrier (p=0.251) scores, higher right forearm pain scores (p=0.035), median values for CMDQ total score (p=0.052) SAS (p=0.101) than did not. Conclusion: There no statistically significant correlation However, it has been have habit exercising level especially

Recently, the widespread surge in smartphone addiction (SA) has raised major global health concerns and prompted researchers to scrutinize inverse relationship between physical activity (PA) risk of SA. This systematic literature review aims synthesize empirical research on PA SA among university students representing most affected age group Adopting Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines, we explored five databases: PubMed, Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN), Oxford Archive, Journal Storage (JSTOR), Google Scholar. We used Mixed Methods Appraisal Tools (MMAT) quality assessment. Thirty-one studies met inclusion criteria. Twenty-eight them were cross-sectional, three experimental. The 31 emerged from 12 countries, stemming (45.16%) China. Their findings suggest an examined population. However, direct may be weak based correlational studies, while intervention yields noteworthy effects. Still, other factors like resilience mediate studied relationship. Methodological render results tentative. Regular could a promising preventive measure Future work should use objective indices longitudinal designs assessing type duration applications via device meters. In interviews follow up high or too much use. conclusion, moderate evidence indicates that can reduce students.

Bereavement can present significant challenges for university students, yet the proportion at risk of prolonged grief disorder (PGD) remains unclear. This study examined PGD and associated factors among Chinese students. Using an online survey administered to bereaved students in mainland China (N = 948), 424 (Mage=21.60, 56.1% female) reported a loss more than 12 months. Chi-squared t-tests were used examine associations between related factors. Results showed 14.2% sample high PGD. The most frequently symptoms marked sense disbelief, intense emotional pain, yearning deceased. was with physical health, age relationship deceased, expectedness cause death, resilience, stress since loss. Identifying these correlates inform future prevention or intervention strategies

Smartphone addiction (SA) refers to a behavioral disorder characterized by an irresistible compulsion excessively engage with mobile devices. Currently, the evidence regarding relationship between physical activity (PA), exercise intensity (EI), and SA is limited, particularly within Chinese populations. This study aims explore correlation PA, EI, SA, specifically investigating how PA EI impact better understand nature of this relationship. A cross-sectional was conducted involving college students from over 20 universities in Western China. Data were collected on participants' engagement SA. Additionally, covariates such as age, gender, ethnicity, academic classification, university location, discipline, year study, hometown region, sibling status, social interactions recorded. Multivariate logistic regression models used assess association Stratified interaction analyses performed examine whether remained consistent across different subgroups. The internet is now essential in college students’ lives, but its overuse turning into a worldwide issue, notably with rising addiction among students. Earlier studies have mainly explored the risk factors of addiction, yielding various findings. This study aims to delve key affecting university students by integrating theory psychological resilience cognitive-behavioral theory. It thoroughly analyzes how self-control, emotional regulation, social support, perceived stress, and influence explores their interactions underlying mechanisms. conveniently selected 999 for survey measure self-reported ratings on six constructs: resilience, addiction. Employing Structural Equation Modeling - Artificial Neural Network (SEM-ANN) approach, unveiled complex non-linear relationships between predictors Results indicated that self-control significantly reduce while stress increases risk. Notably, regulation support did not directly lower Further analysis revealed plays mediating role Additionally, multilayer perceptron normalized importance showed as most critical predictive factor (100%), followed (9.1%), (8.4%), (5.4%). contributes theoretical practical insights

Background In recent years, mobile phone addiction (MPA) has emerged as a significant public health concern, particularly among university students. Physical activity (PA) is believed to exert beneficial influence on MPA within this demographic. However, the extent which moderated by other factors remains uncertain. Evidence points self-control and resilience potential mediators that may partially account for positive impact of PA MPA. Accordingly, study seeks investigate effect mediating role in relationship through chain-mediated model. Methods The involved 413 Chinese students (208 males, mean age 20.59 ± 1.17 years), who completed Rating Scale (PARS-3), Connor-Davidson Resilience (CD-RISC), Self-Control (SCS), Mobile Phone Addiction Index (MPAI), along with psychosocial assessments. Pearson’s correlation was employed analyze relationships between variables, while mediation models were examined using SPSS PROCESS bootstrapped regression analysis. Results demonstrated negative behaviors (β = −0.22, p < 0.01). Self-control addiction. Notably, influenced effects resilience. Conclusion College can alleviate issues consistently engaging healthy PA, essential enhancing bolstering

Background With mental anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, trend of “lying down” has become increasingly prevalent among Chinese college students such as not thinking ahead, decadent abandonment, and being weak daily. Particularly, “Double Non” are more likely to face academic burnout (AB) due lower school satisfaction after-degree employment ratio, in comparison First-Class” students. Objectives In view this, present study examined structural relationships physical exercise (PE), mobile phone addiction (MPA), learning engagement (LE), AB students, aiming at exploring corresponding mechanism provide supportive guidance for alleviating potential AB. Methods This adopted a cross-sectional survey approach sample China. We recruited 930 participants (272 men 658 women) second half 2022–2023 year, all whom completed questionnaires involving Physical Exercise Rating Scale, Mobile Phone Dependence Index Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-Student, Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey. A series statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, bivariate correlations, direct indirect effects variables, were proceeded based on collected data. Results The results showed that PE can only directly negatively influence AB, but also indirectly through mediation MPA well chain both LE. While had no significantly effect via Discussion was proved be an effective way reduce then enhance LE, consequently leading decreased findings discussed light related research, implications future directions put forward application theoretical research educational practice.
