Abstract Purpose The prevalence of parental burnout, a condition that has severe consequences for both parents and children, varies dramatically across countries is highest in Western characterized by high individualism. Method In this study, we examined the mediators relationship between individualism measured at country level burnout individual 36 (16,059 parents). Results results revealed three mediating mechanisms, is, self-discrepancies socially prescribed actual selves, agency self-directed socialization goals, low task sharing, which leads to an increased risk among parents. Abstract In the present study, we examined what kind of parenting style groups (defined by parental warmth, behavioral control, and psychological control) can be identified among contemporary Finnish mothers fathers how these are associated with parents’ symptoms burnout. Gender differences in groups, their associations burnout, were also investigated. The survey data gathered from 1,471 parents (91.2% mothers). results k-means cluster analysis six different groups: authoritarian (13.5%), permissive (15.2%), psychologically controlling (19.4%), uninvolved (14.4%), (12.4%), authoritative (25.1%), being most common. equally common for fathers. showed further that, independently gender, applying experienced burnout most, whereas those or reported least. Abstract School burnout is a growing problem among university students. This two-wave longitudinal study examined the mediating effects of academic self-efficacy, grit, and resilience in relationship between perfectionism helicopter parenting, school students based on Theory Self- vs . Externally-Regulated Learning (SRL vs. ERL), Social Cognitive (SCT). A total 481 college completed measurements at Time 1 (T1) 2 (T2) ( M age = 22.2; 61.5% female, 38.5% male). For analysis, SPSS version 26 Mplus 7.0 were used. The results reveal that mediate parent attitude 2. These findings key role reducing burnout.
