Oxidative stress, arising from an imbalance between reactive oxygen species (ROS) and antioxidants, contributes significantly to oral cancer such as squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) initiation, promotion, progression. ROS, generated both internally externally, induce cellular damage including DNA mutations lipid peroxidation, fostering oncogene activation carcinogenesis. The objective of this review was cover analyze the interplay ROS influencing key processes proliferation, apoptosis, angiogenesis, shaping trajectory OSCC development. Despite promise antioxidants halt progression mitigate oxidative damage, their therapeutic efficacy remains debated. conducted literature search highlighted potential biomarkers that indicate levels showing for early detection monitoring OSCC. Furthermore, melatonin has emerged a promising adjunct therapy OSCC, exerting antioxidant oncostatic effects by modulating tumor-associated neutrophils inhibiting survival migration. In addition, aims shed light on developing personalized strategies patients with therapy, which will be discussed. Research is needed elucidate underlying mechanisms clinical implications stress modulation in context cancer.

Various types interventions, including individualized counseling, protein other specific nutrient supplementation, have been investigated. Overall, dietary increasing intake, supplementation omega-3 (n–3) fatty acids appear beneficial for some, albeit varying, patient outcomes. Malnutrition is associated with higher rates of surgical complications, increased anticancer treatment toxicities, longer hospital stays, healthcare costs, poorer patient quality life, and lower survival rates. Nutritional support has been shown to improve all these outcomes. However, the nutritional care cancer patients still suboptimal several issues remain unresolved. Although effectiveness depends on timeliness intervention, assessment status often delayed perceived as unimportant. When diagnoses malnutrition are made, they rarely recorded in medical records. Abstract Aims and Objectives The prognostic value of nutritional status in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer (mBC) patients treated with CDK4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6is) endocrine therapy (ET) is unclear. Methods/Materials effect PNI values before starting CDK 4/6i on patient prognosis was retrospectively analyzed. Results A total 431 were evaluated. After 35.7 months follow-up, the median overall survival (mOS) 46.3 (95% CI, 29.7–62.8). PNI-low group had decreased progression-free compared to PNI-high [16.6 vs. 30.5 months; univariate HR = 1.640, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.281–2.099, P < .001]. group's mOS noticeably shorter than (35.0 not reached; multivariate-adjusted HR: 2.082, CI: 1.398–3.102, .001).
