Introduction: The presence of cancer stem cells (CSCs) significantly limits the therapeutic efficacy radiotherapy (RT). Efficient elimination potential CSCs is crucial for enhancing effectiveness RT. Methods: In this study, we developed a biomimetic hybrid nano-system (PMC) composed MnCO 3 as inner core and platelet membrane (PM) outer shell. By exploiting specific recognition properties surface proteins, PMC enables precise targeting CSCs. Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) was employed using manganese carbonate nanoparticles (MnCO NPs), which generate abundant reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon ultrasound (US) irradiation, thereby impairing CSC self-renewal capacity eradicating Subsequent RT effectively eliminates common tumor cells. Results: Both in vitro cell experiments vivo animal studies demonstrate that SDT mediated by synergistically enhances to selectively combat while inhibiting growth without noticeable side effects. Discussion: Our findings offer novel insights safety profiles Keywords: clearance, radiosensitization, membrane, sonodynamic therapy,

The treatment of chronic wounds involves precise requirements and complex challenges, as the healing process cannot go beyond inflammatory phase, therefore increasing time implying a higher risk opportunistic infection. Following better understanding process, oxygen supply has been validated therapeutic approach to improve speed up wound healing. Moreover, local implications antimicrobial agents (such silver-based nano-compounds) significantly support normal by combating bacterial contamination colonization. In this study, silver (S) tannylated calcium peroxide (CaO2@TA) nanoparticles were obtained adapted microfluidic precipitation synthesis methods, respectively. After complementary physicochemical evaluation, both types loaded in (Alg) alginate-based gels that further evaluated possible dressings for composites showed porous structure uniform distribution through polymeric matrix (evidenced spectrophotometric analysis electron microscopy studies), together with good swelling capacity. as-proposed gel exhibited constant suitable concentration released oxygen, shown eight hours (UV-Vis investigation). biofilm modulation data indicated synergistic effect between nanoparticles, prominent inhibitory action against Gram-positive after 48 h. Beneficial effects human keratinocytes cultured contact materials demonstrated performed tests, such MTT, LDH, NO.

Abstract In recent years, calcium peroxide (CaO 2 ) has attracted widespread attention in the medical community due to its excellent antitumor and antibacterial properties, gradually become a hot research topic biomedical field. CaO reacts with water (H O) produce ion (Ca 2+ ), oxygen (O hydrogen O where Ca is suitable for death caused by overload, -dependent anticancer therapy, H therapy. addition, can also be used field treat bacterial infections. All these make kind of drug. This study mainly reviews preparation surface modification , probes into latest progress about nanoparticles tumor treatment antimicrobial Finally, challenges that still faces future are clarified, prospects forecasted.
