Articular cartilage is a specialized tissue that provides smooth surface for joint movement and load transmission. Unfortunately, it has limited regenerative capacity. Tissue engineering, combining different cell types, scaffolds, growth factors, physical stimulation become an alternative repairing regenerating articular cartilage. Dental Follicle Mesenchymal Stem Cells (DFMSCs) are attractive candidates engineering because of their ability to differentiate into chondrocytes, on the other hand, polymers blend like Polycaprolactone (PCL) Poly Lactic-co-Glycolic Acid (PLGA) have shown promise given mechanical properties biocompatibility. In this work, physicochemical polymer blends were evaluated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) positive both techniques. The DFMSCs demonstrated stemness flow cytometry. scaffold showed be non-toxic effect when we with Alamar blue, samples analyzed using SEM phalloidin staining evaluate adhesion scaffold. synthesis glycosaminoglycans was construct in vitro. Finally, PCL/PLGA better repair capacity than two commercial compounds, tested chondral defect rat model. These results suggest (80:20) may suitable applications hyaline

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) play a crucial role in regenerative medicine due to their potential. However, traditional MSC-based therapies are hindered by issues such as microvascular obstruction and low cell survival after transplantation. Exosomes derived from MSCs (MSC-Exo) provide cell-free, nanoscale alternative, mitigating these risks offering therapeutic potential for liver diseases. Nonetheless, the functional variability of different sources complicates clinical application. Stem human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED) offer advantages ease procurement robust proliferative capacity, but secretome, particularly SHED-Exo, remains underexplored context disease therapy. This study analyzed MSC-Exo various via small RNA sequencing identify differences microRNA profiles, aiding selection optimal MSC use. SHED-Exo was subsequently tested an acute injury model, showing notable effects, including enhanced hepatocyte proliferation, macrophage polarization, reduced inflammation. Despite strong liver-targeting properties, rapid hepatic clearance limits its effectiveness chronic To address this challenge, GelMA-based hydrogel developed situ delivery, ensuring sustained release antifibrotic efficacy, providing promising strategy management.

Stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED) can differentiate into functioning neurons and oligodendrocytes exhibit immunomodulatory regenerative properties. This study aimed to compare the growth size of SHED cultured in platelet lysate (hPL) fetal bovine serum (FBS), with goal evaluating their potential use medicine. Healthy uninflamed pulp were used for culture. Growth, proliferation, morphology SHED, as well mean surface area, length, width cells, compared between FBS hPL. The area was lower on than hPL days 4, 6, 9 passage 0, higher day 2, comparable 5 10. Comparison growth, 3 0 showed no significant difference. In addition, there difference regarding same passages 1, 3, 4. total length within 10 (137.9 vs. 148.1 µm), while (28 26 µm). overall after 0. This study aimed evaluate whether Kinesiotaping can reduce swelling, pain, and trismus following of facial skull. The present consists two phases. In split-mouth phase, 16 skeletal class III patients underwent Bimax Orthognathic surgery, Kinesiological tape (KT) was applied on one half face. prospective case-control 30 were divided into groups. Kinesio both sides face group, pressure dressing ice therapy used second group. The parallel lower border mandible along its entire length, tangent labial commissure area studied side. placed in place 5 days. Edema evaluated by measuring distance from menton edge tragus. maximum mouth-opening evaluated, VAS index pain. There evidence swelling reduction after KT; within same study, differences between left right as well side statistically significant (p < 0.001). As a result tapping lymphatic affected area, tension reduced, circulation restored. Blood lymph microcirculation improved, enabling body heal itself.Kinesio reduced positive way. simple, non-traumatic, economical method, taping seems promising.
