Abstract The multiple attribute decision‐making models are empowered with the support of fuzzy sets such as intuitionistic, q‐rung orthopair, Pythagorean, and picture sets, also neutrosophic etc. These concepts generate varying representation opportunities for decision‐maker's preferences expertise. Pythagorean Fermatean special cases orthopair set when q = 2 3, respectively. From a geometric perspective, latter provides broader domain than former does. In this study, emerging concept is studied in detail three well‐known multi‐attribute evaluation methods, namely SAW, ARAS, VIKOR extended under environment. manner, decision‐makers will have more freedom specifying their preferences, thoughts, expertise, abovementioned decision approaches be able to handle new type data. applicability propositions shown determining best Covid‐19 testing laboratory which an important topic ongoing global health crisis. To validate proposed benchmark analysis covering results existing set‐based TOPSIS, WPM, Yager aggregation operators presented.

The power transformer is one of the most critical facilities in system, and its running status directly impacts system's security. It essential to research risk priority evaluation parts. Failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) a methodology for analyzing potential failure modes (FMs) within system various industrial devices. This study puts forward hybrid FMEA framework integrating novel hesitant fuzzy aggregation tools CRITIC (Criteria Importance Through Inter-criteria Correlation) method. In this framework, sets (HFSs) are used depict uncertainty evaluation. Then, an improved HFWA (hesitant weighted averaging) operator adopted fuse experts. manner can consider different lengths HFSs support degrees among Next, HFWGA geometric with weights developed determine each FM. method satisfy multiplicative characteristic RPN (risk number) conventional model reflect correlations between indicators. However, some safety issues arise with e-scooter use in the cities. This study aims propose a decision-making model based on q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets for prioritizing safe operation alternative. The proposed consists two stages: weighting criteria and ranking alternatives. First, logarithmic additive assessment weight coefficients methodology Einstein weighted averaging operator were applied define reference relationships between determine their weights. Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is one of the most powerful reliability techniques for identifying preventing potential risks across various fields. Current FMEA methods, while effective, still present several shortcomings. For example, using experts’ subjective pairwise comparisons risk factors to determine their weights reduces stability result; different relationships among failure modes are often ignored. To improve performance FMEA, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods have been employed support evaluation prioritization in recent years. This paper proposes a novel method by exploring MCDM techniques. First, Extended Comparative Linguistic Expressions with Symbolic Translation (ELICIT) utilized generate group assessments under uncertainty. Then, grey relation (GRA) incorporated into trial laboratory (DEMATEL) objectively weight factors. Afterward, traditional ORESTE (organísation, rangement et Synthèse de données relarionnelles (in French)) generalized ELICIT environment prioritize modes, which Besson’s ranking replaced deviation measure more accurate results. Finally, case study electro-mechanical actuators presented illustrate effectiveness proposed method. The results indicate that our approach can express information flexibly, objectively, reasonably.

Abstract Interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (IVq-ROFS) is a powerful tool for dealing with uncertainty. In this paper, we first propose new method aggregating multiple IVq-ROFSs, which easier to understand and implement in the multi-attribute group decision making process compared current aggregation operators. Secondly, paper introduces entropy parameters based on IVq-ROFS, highly flexible due its adjustable parameters. Based this, IVq-ROFS-based attribute weight calculation proposed obtain objective weights of attributes, more reasonable than existing methods. Then, dimensional differences between three compromise scores original Combined Compromise Solution (CoCoSo) method, enhanced are proposed. These obtained by normalizing dependent scores, ensuring that they fall within same range. Finally, novel CoCoSo mothed IVq-ROFS using presented. The adaptable scalable, not limited IVq-ROFS. excellent performance robustness verified sepsis diagnosis applications.
