During the development and progression of lung cancer, cell metabolism function is altered. Thus, cells rely on aerobic glycolysis abnormal lipid amino acid to obtain energy nutrients for growth, proliferation drug resistance. Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a class non-coding RNAs, serve important biological roles in growth tumors. Functionally, circRNAs act as molecular sponges that absorb microRNAs (miRNAs) RNA-binding proteins protein scaffolds regulate gene transcription translation through maintenance mRNA stability. In addition, are regulators tumor promote mediating proliferation, metastasis induction chemoresistance. Results previous studies reveal may key role regulating metabolic processes miRNA sponging alternative mechanisms. demonstrate potential therapeutic targets cancer. The present study aimed review effects cancer provide novel insights into clinical treatment also theoretical basis targets.

Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common and fatal malignancy characterized by poor patient prognosis treatment outcome. The process of liquid–liquid phase separation in tumour cells alters the dysfunction biomolecular condensation cells, which affects progression treatment. We downloaded data HCC samples from TCGA database GEO database, used machine learning method to build new index (LLPSI) related genes. LLPSI‐related column line Figure was constructed provide quantitative tool for clinical practice. patients were divided into high low LLPSI groups based on LLPSI, features, immune microenvironment, chemotherapeutic response, immunotherapeutic response systematically analysed. consists five separation‐associated genes (MAPT, WDR62, PLK1, CDCA8 TOP2A), reliable predictor survival with has been validated multiple external datasets. found that group showed higher levels cell infiltration better immunotherapy compared group, can also be prognostic prediction various cancers other than HCC. In vitro experiments verified knockdown MAPT could inhibit proliferation migration identified this study accurately assess identify populations will benefit immunotherapy, providing valuable insights management

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been shown to be pivotal regulators in various human diseases by participating gene splicing, acting as microRNA (miRNA) sponges, interacting with RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), and translating into short peptides. As the back-splicing products of pre-mRNAs, many circRNAs can modulate expression their host genes through transcriptional, post-transcriptional, translational, post-translational control via interaction other molecules. This review provides a detailed summary these regulatory mechanisms based on class molecules that they interact with, which encompass DNA, mRNA, miRNA, RBPs. The co-expression parental productions (including linear counterparts proteins) potential diagnostic biomarkers for multiple diseases. Meanwhile, different act constitute complex networks, also provide noticeable clues therapeutic strategies against Future research should explore whether proven play similar role types disease clarify further details about cross-talk between genes. In addition, relationship circRNA circularization, degradation, cellular localization receive attention.
