The long-lasting influence of childhood adversity on mental health is well documented; however empirical research examining how this association extends into older adults limited. This study defines using cumulative risk and latent class analysis (LCA) models to assess exposure typologies may predict anxiety depression in adults. Data came from the Personality Total Health (PATH) Through Life Project (N = 2551, age 60–66). Participants retrospectively reported their experiences domestic a 17-item scale. Mental was measured four validated questionnaires anxiety. Linear generalised additive (GAM) indicated dose-response relationship, where greater number adversities were associated with poorer scores all measures. LCA identified four-class solution; high parental dysfunction being poorest outcomes while moderate low groups scored at healthy levels. Women higher overall than men, but no notable interactions between ACEs gender observed. Patterns revealed by similar patterns shown model. There large time gap assessment, making our susceptible recall bias. Also, findings based cross-sectional data, limiting causal inferences. Childhood had independent contributions adulthood, both person-centred approaches captured relationship.

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) studies reveal the profound impacts of experiencing trauma and hardships in childhood. However, cumulative risk approach treating ACEs obscures heterogeneity their consequences, making actionable interventions impossible. latent class analysis (LCA) has increasingly been used to address these concerns by identifying underlying subgroups people who experience distinctive patterns co-occurring ACEs. Though LCA its strengths, existing research produces few comparable findings because results are dependent on measures indicators, which vary widely study. Therefore, a scoping review using that focuses measures, is needed inform field. Following Arksey O'Malley's five-stage methodological framework, we first identified 211 articles from databases EBSCOhost, PubMed, Scopus "adverse experiences" for title search "latent analysis" abstract search. Abstract Both adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and bullying victimization are linked with mental health problems in adolescents. However, little is known about the overlap between two factors how this impacts adolescent (i.e., internalizing externalizing problems). The current study analyzed data from 8,085 participants (47.7% female; 44.1% racial/ethnic minority) Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study, baseline (2016–2018, ages 9–10 years) to Year 2. Regression analyses were used estimate associations ACEs, problems, respectively, adjusting for sex, race/ethnicity, country of birth, household income, parental education, site. findings showed that both ACEs independently associated higher problems. no significant interaction was found victimization. Overall, results align cumulative risk model adversity, linking early

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) are associated with many deleterious outcomes in young offenders. There is a dearth of studies examining its effects on offenders' antisocial attitudes, disruptive behaviors and aggression, risk factors for delinquency reoffending. This study examined ACE patterns their association the above 1130 youth offenders (964 males; M age = 17.57 years), provided self-reports ACEs, behavior ratings aggression. Latent Class Analysis was performed 12 self-reported followed by Analyses Covariance each measures. Four classes – Low ACE, Indirect Victims, Abusive Environment, Polyvictimized were identified. youths had highest levels conduct problems ( 70.35, p s < .05) proactive aggression 0.45, but did not differ from Environment reactive 1.02, .69), oppositional 65.15, .18), attitudes 26.95, .21). Victims lower 64.80, 24.35, than higher these group. Our findings showed that ACEs vary antisociality behaviors. The novel finding childhood victimization does have to be direct, as indirect significantly impacted important
