Some infectious agents have the potential to cause specific modifications in cellular microenvironment that could be propitious carcinogenesis process. Currently, there are viruses and bacteria, such as human papillomavirus (HPV) Helicobacter pylori, well established risk factors for neoplasia. Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infections one of most common bacterial sexually transmitted worldwide, recent European data confirmed a continuous rise across Europe. The infection is often asymptomatic both sexes, requiring screening program early detection. The microbiota composition in humans varies according to the anatomical site and is crucial for maintaining homeostasis an overall healthy state. Several gastrointestinal, vaginal, respiratory, skin diseases are associated with dysbiosis. Alternative therapies such as transplantation can help restore normal be implemented treat clinically relevant diseases. Current conducted clinical trials were included this review (after searching on MEDLINE database from years 2017 2025) fecal (FMT) against recurrent Clostridiodes difficile infection (rCDI) vaginal (VMT) bacterial vaginosis. Washed (WMT) live biotherapeutic products (LBPs) also reviewed. In microbiota-based therapy, selecting optimal donors a limitation. A stool or bank should overcome time-consuming expensive process of donor recruitment. Microbiota-based LBPs promising treatment alternatives rCDI other dysbiosis-associated Specific could engineered out fluids-derived strains achieve selection specific beneficial microorganisms Personalized treatments solutions diseases, which remains important necessity practice.

The potential health-promoting effects of probiotics against intoxication by pesticides is a topic increasing commercial interest with limited scientific evidence. In this study, we aimed to investigate the positive probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii on male reproductive system under low dose neonicotinoid pesticide exposure conditions. We observed that acetamiprid and imidacloprid caused degeneration necrosis spermatocytes in tubular wall, severe edema intertubular region hyperemia. This was concomittant increased levels 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine reflecting oxidative stress, an increase caspase 3 expression, apoptosis. According our results, supplementation mitigates these toxic effects. Further vivo clinical studies are needed clarify molecular mechanisms protection. Altogether, study reinforces burden evidence from emerging linking composition gut microbiome function system.

Children of mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are more prone to acquire type 2 and obesity as adults. Due this link, early intervention strategies that alter the gut microbiome may benefit mother kid long-term. This work uses metagenomic transcriptome sequencing investigate how probiotics affect microbiota dysbiosis inflammation in GDM.GDM control data were obtained from SRA database. helped us understand abundance function. KEGG detected extracted functional pathway genes. Transcriptome evaluated GDM-related gene expression. Finally, GDM animal models given orally evaluate inflammatory response, regulatory immune cell fractions, leptin protein levels.GDM patients had Fusobacteria Firmicutes, while healthy people Bacteroidetes. Gut composition by altering L-aspartate L-asparagine super pathways. Mannan degradation synthesis enhanced mice overexpression. Oral prevent lowering leptin. increased Treg, Tfr, Breg cells, which decreased TNF-α IL-6 TGF-β IL-10, preventing preserving mouse pregnancy.Dysbiosis increase expression cause GDM. enhance limit response assist sustaining normal pregnancy. Thus, oral GDM, enabling targeted modulation maternal fetal health.

Time around parturition is a stressful period for both bitches and their puppies. The use of probiotics has been proposed, e.g., in pigs, to improve health status sows, reproductive performances turn, the performance progeny. objective present study was evaluate impact, on dams puppies, supplementation with live yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii CNCM I-1079 (SB-1079) during second part gestation lactation period. A total 36 medium large-sized breeds were enrolled. They divided into two groups, one which received 1.3 × 10 9 colony forming units per day. At dam’s level, SB-1079 shaped different microbiota structure between groups just after whelping, impacted alpha diversity some plasma metabolites related energy metabolism. Regarding performances, improved gross colostrum (1.4 vs. 1.2 kcal ME/g) as well concentration protein milk at Day 7 (10.4 7.6%). also reduced odds having low birth weight litter. puppy’s modulation immunometabolic phenotype suggested by observation increased growth rates early pediatric (i.e., 21 56 days life, 225 190%) decrease IL-8:IL-10 ratio vaccination against rabies (4.2 16.9). Our findings suggest that potential enhance turn puppies through maternal programming.
