The potential of Stropharia rugosoannulata as a microbial remediation material for cadmium (Cd)-contaminated soil lies in its capacity to absorb and accumulate Cd mycelia. This study utilized the TMT LC−MS techniques conduct integrated proteomic metabolomic analyses with aim investigating mycelial response mechanisms S. under low- high-Cd stresses. results revealed that mycelia employed proactive defense mechanism maintain their physiological functions, leading reduced sensitivity low-Cd stress. ability withstand high levels stress was influenced primarily by comprehensive regulation six metabolic pathways, which led harmonious balance between nitrogen carbohydrate metabolism reductions oxidative growth inhibition caused Cd. provide valuable insights into molecular involved

Metabolic abnormalities lead to the dysfunction of metabolic pathways and metabolite accumulation or deficiency which is well-recognized hallmarks diseases. Metabolite signatures that have close proximity subject's phenotypic informative dimension, are useful for predicting diagnosis prognosis diseases as well monitoring treatments. The lack early biomarkers could poor serious outcomes. Therefore, noninvasive methods with high specificity selectivity desperately needed. Small molecule metabolites-based metabolomics has become a specialized tool biomarker pathway analysis, revealing possible mechanisms human various deciphering therapeutic potentials. It help identify functional related variation delineate biochemical changes indicators pathological damage prior disease development. Recently, scientists established large number profiles reveal underlying networks target exploration in biomedicine. This review summarized analysis on potential value small-molecule candidate metabolites clinical events, may better diagnosis, prognosis, drug screening treatment. We also discuss challenges need be addressed fuel next wave breakthroughs.

Cadmium (Cd) is a common environmental pollutant associated with an increased incidence of renal metabolic diseases. Luteolin (Lut), natural flavonoid, widely used for its multifaceted therapeutic properties in inflammatory However, whether Lut protects against Cd-induced nephrotoxicity still equivocal. The present study investigated the effects supplementation on oxidative stress, inflammation and metabolism their related mechanisms. Therefore, 40 chickens were treated Cd and/or automatic water free food intake 1 mo then kidney tissues collected to explore this issue. In study, exposure induced glycolipid disorders resultant damage by periodic acid Schiff (PAS) staining, Oil Red O total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), glucose (Glu) levels kidney, which significantly ameliorated Lut. Moreover, also normalized expression factors Cd-disturbed metabolism, improving homeostasis, contributing alleviating damage. Furthermore, demonstrated potential stress enhancing antioxidant capacity inhibiting cytokine production tissues. Mechanistically, activated AMPK/SIRT1/FOXO1 signaling pathway, attenuating responses, ameliorating disturbance. conclusion, these observations demonstrate that treatment activates decreases response, may contribute prevent disorder consequent

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is an important public health issue that affects millions of people around the world and growing to pandemic-like proportions. This defined by World Health Organization (WHO) as a pathologic condition characterized abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension, hyperlipidemia. Moreover, etiology MetS multifactorial, involving many environmental factors, including toxicant exposures. Several studies have associated with heavy metals exposure, which focus this review. Environmental and/or occupational exposure are major risk, contributing development chronic diseases. Of particular note, toxic such mercury, lead, cadmium may contribute altering oxidative stress, IL-6 signaling, apoptosis, altered lipoprotein metabolism, fluid shear stress atherosclerosis, other mechanisms. In review, we discuss known potential roles in well targeted pathways MetS. Furthermore, describe how new approaches proteomic transcriptome analysis, bioinformatic tools, help bring about understanding involvement metalloids
