Interactions between humans and the physical environment in which they live have been studied extensively reason being that human activities to a great extent exert an influence on (biotic abiotic). Pollution other hand is introducing harmful substances into are damaging living organisms. Pollutants can be gases, liquids or solids produced concentrations higher than usual diminish quality of environment. Human adverse effects by polluting air we breathe, water drink even cause climatic changes. In terms provision manifold services, technology societal modernization, industrial revolution recorded outstanding success, it however, was beginning mass production pollutants emitted caused health our era, industrialization urbanization evidently reaching unprecedented disturbing proportions globally with anthropogenic pollution one major public hazards, accounting for almost 9 million deaths annually. This research therefore aims investigate environmental from activities, particularly water, climate change provide comprehensive understanding interconnectedness their consequences. Furthermore, since emerges as global concern developing countries; this study thus also highlights significance efficient wastewater treatment crucial strategy sustainable development, exploring its potential contribution mitigation.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a promising herb utilized all over the world beacuseof its extensive pharmacological properties. This study aims to evaluate physicochemical, phytochemicals and anti-bacterial potential of Zingiber officinale. The extracts showed existence phytochemicals, although chloroform n-hexane absence steroids cardiac glycosides. At 50, 100, 200 mg/mL doses, from officinale inhibited pathogens (Porphyromonas gingivalis, Proteus mirabilis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Salmonella, Mycobacterium, Enterobacterium) that were being tested. antibacterial potentials thus revealed in this are supported by biological processes. ethanolic superior inhibition at against Porphyromonas Enterobacterium. findings current research show ginger contains exert

Vernonia amygdalina possess specialized metabolites which have been shown to minimize the risk of human diseases. This study was aimed evaluate effect V. extracts on Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and Glutathione s-transferase (GST) alloxan induced diabetes in Wistar rats. Extraction leaves done manually were fractionated using Asymmetric Flow Field Fractionation method. The fractions obtained from crude tested identify phytochemicals such as alkaloids, glycosides saponins. Meanwhile, experimental animals divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 (non-induced) grouped 6 groups (control, crude, metformin, saponin, glycoside alkaloid) six animals. 5 (crude, intraperitoneally with Alloxan injection (Alloxan-Induced). results for fasting blood glucose level treated alloxan-induced diabetic showed a significant increase compared those control group (61.33±2.0) untreated. In addition, histopathological analysis pancreas resurgence destroyed pancreatic islet cells. findings current research that ameliorated enzymatic activities male

Plants are a rich source of antioxidants that produced naturally. Therefore, this study was aimed to evaluate the effect plant Ricinodendron heudelotii (Baill.) in attenuation paracetamol (PCM) hepatotoxicity Wistar rats. Twenty-four male albino rats weighing between 200 and 250 g were divided into four groups, with six each. Group 1 served as control group, receiving just distilled water. Groups 2 3 received orally mg/kg bwt/day PCM 300 methanol extract leaves for two weeks, respectively. For group 4, leaf pre-administered week before weeks. As marker liver damage, serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST) alanine (ALT) measured. Liver tissue reduced glutathione (GSH) concentration, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione-S-transferase (GST), catalase activities utilized determine antioxidant state, while malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration employed lipid peroxidation indicator. When compared AST, ALT, SOD, MDA levels considerably (p < 0.05) higher although GSH level GST significantly lower. In comparison co-administration decreased AST ALT activities. This shows extracts protects rats' livers from PCM-induced oxidative stress by increasing enzymes.
