Lead (Pb), as a toxic heavy metal pollutant, has been paid much attention. Pb is often discharged into the environment through soot, wastewater and waste residue in industrial production, which poses great threat to animal health. Selenium (Se) trace element known antagonize toxicity caused by metals. However, interaction between Se chicken kidney its specific biological mechanism are still unclear. So, we constructed models of exposure Pb, co-exposure. Therefore, used western blot qRT-PCR detect expression related genes. The results showed that activated MAPK signaling pathway up-regulating MARK genes induce pro-apoptotic necroptosis-related can regulate attenuated altered reduce apoptosis necroptosis cells. Our study gives new ideas for nephrotoxicity provides reference comparative medicine clinical medication.

Microplastics and pesticides are emerging contaminants in the marine biota, which cause many harmful effects on aquatic organisms, especially fish. Fish is a staple affordable food source, rich animal protein, along with various vitamins, essential amino acids, minerals. Exposure of fish to microplastics, pesticides, nanoparticles generates ROS induces oxidative stress, inflammation, immunotoxicity, genotoxicity, DNA damage alters gut microbiota, thus reducing growth quality Changes behavioral patterns, swimming, feeding habits were also observed under exposures above contaminants. These affect Nrf-2, JNK, ERK, NF-κB, MAPK signaling pathways. And Nrf2-KEAP1 signalling modulates redox status marinating enzymes Effects found modulate antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione system. So, protect health from contribution nano-technology or nano-formulations was researched. A decrease nutritional population significantly impacts human diet, influencing traditions economics worldwide. On other hand, traces microplastics habitat water can enter humans by consuming contaminated may result serious hazards. This review summarizes stress caused due nano-particle contamination exposure their impact health. As rescue mechanism, use management disease discussed.

4-tert-butylphenol (4-tBP) is a toxic environmental pollutant with moderate bioaccumulation, persistence, and long-term toxicity. Its toxicity to aquatic organisms has become an issue of concern. However, the molecular mechanism 4-tBP remained unclear. Liver target organ for pollutants. Here, we established 4-tBP-exposed model in vivo primary hepatocyte vitro common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). We found increased hepatic-somatic index (HSI) abnormal serum biochemical indexes (ALT, AST, LDH) after exposure, indicating liver damage. further revealed that damaged structural integrity livers typical features ferroptosis. Based on toxicogenomics analysis, ferroptosis likely be involved 4-tBP-induced Moreover, our experiment provided evidences 4-tBP-exposure led excess oxidative stress, iron overload, decreased MMP, expression ferroptosis-related factors. Interestingly, ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1, inhibitor) pretreatment alleviated above changes. In summary, demonstrated triggered hepatocytes via SLC7A11/GSH/GPX4 axis, ATF4/HSPA5/GPX4 axis. For first time, discovered Fer-1 can ameliorate 4-tBP, which needs more investigations. Our results scientific basis fish poisoning.

The regeneration of adult skeletal muscle after injury is primarily initiated by satellite cells (SCs), but the regulatory mechanisms committed to myogenic differentiation remain poorly explored. Small molecular selenoprotein K (SelK) plays crucial roles in modulation endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and against oxidative stress. Here, we first showed that SelK expression activated during both vivo vitro. Meanwhile, loss delayed regeneration, inhibited development myoblasts into myotubes, was accompanied reduced factors (MRFs). Moreover, ER stress, intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), autophagy apoptosis under myogenesis induction were more severe SelK-deficient mice than corresponding control groups. Supplementation with specific inhibitors alleviate excessive or partly rescued potential formation myotubes. Notably, demonstrated Self-mediated regulation cellular redox status derived from its subsequent effects on Together, our results suggest protects damage a regulator myogenesis.
