Developing biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) using plant extract is an environmentally friendly method to reduce the use harmful chemical substances. The green synthesis Ag-NPs by Lawsonia inermis and its cellular toxicity antimicrobial effect was studied. physical properties synthesised were investigated UV-visible spectroscopy, infrared X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning, transmission electron microscopy. average size 40 nm. XRD result shows peaks at 2θ = 38.07°, 44.26°, 64.43°, 77.35° are related FCC structure Ag-NPs. Cytotoxicity evaluated MTT test on breast cancer MCF7 cell line. Observations showed that cytotoxicity studied line depended concentration time. obtained IC50 considered for cells a dose 250 μg/ml. Growth survival rates decreased exponentially with dose.
