Sepsis and septic shock are critical medical conditions characterized by a systemic inflammatory response to infection, significantly contributing global mortality rates. The progression multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) represents the most severe complication of sepsis markedly increases clinical mortality. Central pathophysiology sepsis, endothelial cells play crucial role in regulating microcirculation maintaining barrier integrity across various organs tissues. Recent studies have underscored pivotal function development sepsis-induced MODS. This review aims provide comprehensive overview MODS, with specific focus on dysfunction. It also compiles compelling evidence regarding potential small molecules that could attenuate subsequent multi-organ damage modulating function. Thus, this serves as an essential resource for practitioners involved diagnosing, managing, providing intensive care associated injuries, emphasizing importance targeting enhance outcomes patients.

Abstract Resveratrol is a widely recognized polyphenolic phytochemical found in various plants and their fruits, such as peanuts, grapes, berry fruits. It renowned for its several health advantages. The well known anticancer properties, substantial amount of clinical evidence has also established promise chemotherapeutic agent. This study focuses on assessing the properties resveratrol gaining insight into underlying molecular mechanisms. evaluates biopharmaceutical, toxicological characteristics, utilization to determine suitability further development reliable Therefore, information about preclinical studies was collected from different electronic databases up‐to‐date (2018–2023). Findings this revealed that potent therapeutic benefits against cancers involving mechanisms, induction oxidative stress, cytotoxicity, inhibition cell migration invasion, autophagy, arresting S phase cycle, apoptotic, anti‐angiogenic, antiproliferative effects by regulating pathways including PI3K/AKT, p38/MAPK/ERK, NGFR‐AMPK‐mTOR, so on. However, compound poor oral bioavailability due reduced absorption; limitation overcome applying nanotechnology (nanoformulation resveratrol). Clinical application showed types cancer with no serious adverse effects. We suggest additional extensive check efficacy, safety, long‐term hazards. could involve larger number samples establish drug treatment cancer.

The use of naturally derived drugs in anti-cancer therapies has grown exponentially recent years. Among natural compounds, polyphenols have shown potential therapeutic applications treatment due to their protective functions plants, as food additives, and excellent antioxidant properties, resulting beneficial effects on human health. Building more efficient cancer with fewer side health can be achieved by combining compounds conventional drugs, which are typically aggressive than chemicals polyphenols. This article reviews a wide variety studies where polyphenolic play key role anticancer alone or combination other drugs. Moreover, the future directions various therapy shown.

Pancreatic cancer (PC) is one of the deadliest malignancies, with an increasing incidence and limited response to current therapeutic options. Therefore, more effective low-toxic agents are needed improve PC patients' outcomes. Resveratrol (RSV) a natural polyphenol multiple biological properties, including anticancer effects. In this study, we explored antiproliferative activities newly synthetized RSV analogues in panel cell lines evaluated physicochemical properties most active compound. This derivative exhibited marked effects cells through mechanisms involving DNA damage, apoptosis induction, interference cycle progression, as assessed using flow cytometry immunoblot analysis proteins, PARP cleavage, H2AX phosphorylation. Notably, compound induced consistent reduction subpopulation CD133+EpCAM+ stem-like phenotype, paralleled by dramatic on clonogenicity. Moreover, had negligible toxicity against normal HFF-1 and, thus, good selectivity index values toward lines. Remarkably, its higher lipophilicity stability human plasma, compared RSV, might ensure better permeation along gastrointestinal tract. Our results provide insights into action contributing activity synthetic analogue, supporting potential value search for safe treatment.
