Since conventional antibiotics are almost ineffective on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains, designing their antibacterial alternatives is necessary. Besides, the use of vancomycin applied for specific detection bacteria. Silver-incorporated vancomycin-modified mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs@Van@Ag NPs) were designed and treatment MRSA Mesoporous (MSNs) synthesized through template method, modified with vancomycin, finally incorporated silver (Ag NPs). The MSNs@Van@Ag NPs a homogenously spherical shape, average size 50-100 nm, surface area 955.8 m 2 /g, thermal stability up to 200°C successfully characterized. amount Ag into was calculated at 3.9 ppm release received 2.92 (75%) after 100 h. in vitro susceptibility test showed MIC μg mL −1 MSNs@Van 50 MSNs@Van@Ag, showing enhanced effect bactericidal process. An vivo acute pneumonia model performed biochemical assays pathological studies confirmed nanomedicine’s short-term safety application. Cytokine assay using ELISA that MSN@Van@Ag causes reduction pro-inflammatory cytokines bacterial proliferation leading alleviation inflammatory response.
