Sustainable rural tourism development is paramount for the socio-economic advancement of regions in China. This study systematically prioritizes key drivers essential successful implementation sustainable by employing Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and MICMAC analysis methodologies. Through an extensive literature review expert consultations, we identify categorize critical influencing tourism. Utilizing ISM approach, construct a hierarchical structure to elucidate interrelationships among these drivers. Following this, applied assess their driving dependence power. We find that government policy support most powerful driver forming basis development.
