with
ACEs
possess
blunted
cortisol
response
to
psychosocial
stressors,

inflammation
evinced
by
increased
C-reactive
protein
levels,
exaggerated
amygdalar
emotionally
negative
information,
diminished
hippocampal
gray
matter
volume.
Importantly,
these
alterations
consistently
observed
those
without
psychiatric
diagnosis.
