Gastrointestinal cancers are a major global health challenge, with high mortality rates. This study investigated the anti-cancer activities of 30 monomers extracted from Morus alba L. (mulberry) against gastrointestinal cancers. Toxicological assessments revealed that most compounds, particularly immunotoxicity, exhibit some level toxicity, but it is generally not life-threatening under normal conditions. Among these components, Sanggenol L, Sanggenon C, Kuwanon H, 3′-Geranyl-3-prenyl-5,7,2′,4′-tetrahydroxyflavone, Morusinol, Mulberrin, Moracin P, E, and A demonstrate significant properties various cancers, including colon, pancreatic, gastric The mechanism chemical components was explored in cancer cells, revealing they inhibit cell cycle DNA replication-related gene expression, leading to effective suppression tumor growth. Additionally, induced unfolded protein response (UPR) endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, potentially resulting damage, autophagy, death. an active monomer characterized as 2-arylbenzofuran, found induce ER stress promote apoptosis confirming its potential growth vitro vivo. These findings highlight therapeutic especially focusing on P potent inducer apoptosis.

The innate immune system, composed of neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), macrophages, dendritic (DCs), mast (MCs), and lymphoid (ILCs), is the first line defense. Growing evidence demonstrates crucial role immunity in tumor initiation progression. Several studies support idea that immunity, through release pro- and/or anti-inflammatory cytokines growth factors, plays a significant pathogenesis, progression, prognosis cutaneous malignant melanoma (MM). Cutaneous most common skin cancer, with an incidence rapidly increased recent decades. Melanoma highly immunogenic tumor, due to its high mutational burden. metastatic form retains mortality. advent immunotherapy revolutionized therapeutic approach this significantly ameliorated patients' clinical outcome. In review, we will recapitulate multiple roles related implications for immunotherapy.

Metabolic cancers are defined by metabolic reprogramming. Although this reprograming drives rapid tumour growth and invasion, it also reveals specific vulnerabilities that can be therapeutically exploited in cancer therapy. A novel form of programmed cell death, known as disulfidptosis, was identified last year; cells with high SLC7A11 expression undergo disulfidptosis when deprived glucose. Natural products have attracted increasing attention shown potential to treat through diverse mechanisms.

Melanoma, one of the most lethal cancers, demands urgent and effective treatment strategies. However, a successful therapeutic approach requires precise understanding mechanisms underlying melanoma initiation progression. This review provides an overview pathogenesis, identifies current pathogenic factors contributing to mortality, explores targeted therapy checkpoint inhibitor therapy. Furthermore, we examine classification corresponding therapies, along with advancements in various cell death for treatment. We also discuss status some drawbacks encountered during research stages such as resistance metastasis.
