The sodium-nitrogen-sulfur co-doped carbon quantum dots (CQDs) were synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal method, which exhibited remarkably high fluorescence yield (24.58%) and exceptional optical properties. "on-off-on" sensor was constructed. of CQDs rapidly quenched with Fe(III) the recovered by ascorbic acid (Asc) partially arginine (Arg)/histidine (His) completely. demonstrated rapid response, sensitivity, excellent stability, remarkable selectivity, robust anti-interference performance, feasible to simultaneously determine concentrations multipile analytes in sample satisfactory recovery rates. mechanism investigated, revealing significant potential nano-functionalized materials field drug detection through sensing.

Chiral CDots (c-CDots) not only inherit those merits from but also exhibit chiral effects in optical, electric, and bio-properties. Therefore, c-CDots have received significant interest a wide range of research communities including chemistry, physics, biology, device engineers. They already made decent progress terms synthesis, together with the exploration their optical properties applications. In this review, chiroptical chirality origin extinction circular dichroism (ECD) circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) is briefly discussed. Then, synthetic strategies summarized, one-pot post-functionalization ligands, assembly into architectures soft templates. Afterward, on applications are elaborated. Research domains such as drug delivery, bio- or chemical sensing, regulation enzyme-like catalysis, others covered. Finally, perspective challenges associated strategies, understanding chirality, potential provided. This review discusses latest developments helps toward better structure-property relationship along respective

Although chirality plays an important role in the natural world, it has also attracted much scientific attention nanotechnology, particular, spintronics and bioapplications. Chiral carbon dots (CDs) are promising nanoparticles for sensing bioimaging since they biocompatible, ecofriendly, free from toxic elements. Herein, green red emissive chiral CDs fabricated via surface modification treatment of achiral at room temperature.
