Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder impairing cognition and memory in the elderly. This has complex etiology, including senile plaque neurofibrillary tangle formation, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, damaged neuroplasticity. Current treatment options are limited, so alternative treatments such as herbal medicine could suppress symptoms while slowing cognitive decline. We followed PRISMA guidelines to identify potential treatments, their associated medicinal phytochemicals, mechanisms of these treatments. Common herbs, Ginkgo biloba, Camellia sinensis, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cyperus rotundus, Buplerum falcatum, produced promising pre-clinical results. These herbs rich kaempferol quercetin, flavonoids with polyphenolic structure that facilitate multiple action. include inhibition Aβ reduction tau hyperphosphorylation, suppression modulation BDNF PI3K/AKT pathways. Using findings from quercetin research comparatively limited data on kaempferol, we proposed ameliorates neuroinflammatory state, maintains proper cellular function, restores pro-neuroplastic signaling. In this review, discuss anti-AD limitations, suggest for AD. Our lead us conclude polyherbal kaempferol- quercetin-rich cocktail treat AD-related brain damage.

Background The efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) in managing irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) accompanied by anxiety and depression remains uncertain. Thus, a systematic review was carried out employing meta-analysis network pharmacology to ascertain the underlying mechanisms CHM therapy. Methods By conducting review, including literature search, screening, data extraction, we identified 25 randomized controlled trials assess CHM’s effectiveness treating alongside depression. Network utilized scrutinize metabolite utility addressing this condition. Potential primary were synthesized using information sourced from PubMed database. Background: This study investigates the neuroprotective effects of 1,8-cineole (1,8-CH), against hippocampal oxidative stress in a chronic unpredictable mild (CUMS) mice model depression, focusing on underlying molecular mechanisms. Methods: The CUMS exposure were assessed by measuring markers, antioxidant activity, and neuronal damage hippocampus using histopathology, network pharmacology, Western blot analysis, small interfering RNA (siRNA) knockdown experiments.
