Aesthetic evaluation of increasingly complex and personalized human–computer interaction interfaces serves as a critical bridge between humans machines, fundamentally enhancing various factors. This study addresses the challenges in aesthetic by adjusting existing methodologies to incorporate seven metrics: density, symmetry, balance, proportionality, uniformity, simplicity, sequence. These metrics were effectively integrated into composite metric through both multiple regression analysis entropy methods, with efficacy fitting methods validated. Leveraging automatic segmentation recognition technology for interface screenshots, this research enables rapid, automated acquisition evaluations index, leading development prototype system layout assessment. Aimed at reducing time, manpower, resources required evaluation, enhances universality, compatibility, flexibility assessments. It promotes integration any stage design process, significantly benefiting lightweight rapid iterative cycles, thereby advancing field evaluation.

Abstract Digital museums play a crucial role in facilitating users' access to and exploration of digital cultural heritage resources. However, exploring the factors influencing user engagement with these from experience perspective remains essential. This study evaluates driving continuous behavioral intention towards museum Beijing’s central axis, integrating new task-technology fit (TTF) unified theory acceptance use technology (UTAUT) models, introducing perceived enjoyment, design aesthetics, value as additional variables. Analyzing survey data (n = 377) utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM), identifies following key findings: (1) task characteristics significantly impact TTF; (2) performance expectancy, effort all positively intention; (3) technological were observed expectancy; but (4) TTF social influence did not have no significant intention. These findings offer valuable insights into heritage, offering practical guidance for future development optimization museums, highlighting specific implications suggestions enhancing experience.

International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Journal Year: 2024, Volume and Issue: unknown, P. 1 - 10

Published: April 15, 2024

The survey found that many interactive interfaces of apps developed for the elderly on market do not align with visual characteristics in terms color configuration design. This mismatch greatly diminishes usability and experience users. research offers a meticulous analysis user interface (UI) design smart applications (APPs) specifically tailored users, focusing enhancing functionality protecting users' physical & mental health through scientifically configured colors. Against backdrop China's aging population, this study implements Hue, Saturation, Lightness (HSL) model, integrates methodologies from design, theory, psychology, statistics. Through simulation experiments, exhaustive questionnaires, in-depth interviews, it was proposed an APP meets conditions warm hue, high lightness, medium saturation HSL model is most suitable elderly. also reveals distinct aversion among toward colors low lightness specific cool hues.

Published: June 28, 2024

In the context of burgeoning digital fashion industry, this study investigates factors influencing consumer purchase intentions for virtual garments. Through literature review, constructed a theoretical model comprising seven latent variables: trendiness, novelty, sociability, craftsmanship, perceived value, quality, and intention, data 347 surveys from China are analysed effectively. Results show that craftsmanship not only have direct positive impact on consumers' but also indirectly influence through mediating variables value quality. Although trendiness itself did significant it could affect These insights offer valuable implications design marketing strategies garment brands, aiming to better align with motives in realm.

This study presented 101 participants with either interfaces or scrambled to purify the effects of aesthetic judgment. Both N2 and LPP showed a significant interaction between level (aesthetic, medium, unaesthetic) image type (interface scramble). More specifically, was more enhanced for than medium unaesthetic interfaces, while three types scrambles no difference. Similarly, positive but kinds images differences. The results four classification models consistently that could accurately classify different interface N1 P2. These patterns indicated both are ERP correlates appreciation, indicating might evoke differences in early attentional later evaluation stages.

Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) is designed to engender immersive experiences and possess vast potential in enhancing vehicular safety. In the context of advancing digital technologies, intention use such innovations represents a significant field study. Drawing on Perceived Value Theory Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, this study formulates model evaluate user intentions regarding automotive (AR-HUD). This integrates design elements, including interface attractiveness, sense presence, controllability, responsiveness, along with perceived utilitarian hedonic values. Through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) 230 valid questionnaire results, analysis identifies both values as pivotal influencing AR-HUD adoption, value being preeminent. Additionally, it evidenced that attributes influence usage via Consequently, presents strategies for auto manufacturers designers aimed at amplifying advantages AR-HUD, thus fostering greater adoption willingness.
