Abstract Background The Russian invasion of Ukraine resulted in a dramatic increase children and adolescents being confronted with war other traumatic experiences, which could result an trauma-related mental health disorders such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) entire generation. Methods is part “TF-CBT Ukraine” project Ukrainian therapists were trained assessing their patients via “Child Adolescent Trauma Screen” (CATS-2) before initiating trauma-focused treatment, if indicated. Abstract Background Multiple published sources from around the world have confirmed an association between array of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and other traumatic events with eating disorders (EDs) related outcomes, including higher morbidity mortality. Methods In keeping this Special Issue’s goals, narrative review focuses on ACEs pyramid its purported mechanisms through which child maltreatment forms violence toward human beings influence health well-being individuals who develop EDs throughout life span. Relevant literature posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is highlighted when applicable. Results At every level pyramid, it shown that interact each these proclaimed escalating in a bidirectional manner contributes to predisposition, precipitation perpetuation medical psychiatric comorbidities, then predispose early death. Background: Complex posttraumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) has recently been added to the ICD-11 diagnostic system for classification of diseases. Abstract The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative (CAMHI) aims to enhance mental health care capacity for children adolescents across Greece. Unaccompanied young refugees (UYRs) show elevated levels of mental distress such as post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS), depression, and anxiety. The individual post-arrival situation in the host country plays an important role increasing or reducing health risks for these vulnerable children youth. study aims at examining impact pre- post-migration factors on UYRs.A cross-sectional survey N = 131 (81.7% male, M 16.9 years old) was conducted 22 youth welfare service (CYWS) facilities Germany. participants provided information about post-flight experiences. Standardized measures were used to assess (CATS-2), depression (PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7). Daily stressors assessed with Stressors Scale Young Refugees (DSSYR), sociocultural adaptation Brief Sociocultural Adaptation (BSAS), satisfaction social support Social Support Questionnaire (SSQ6-G).Our results demonstrated clinical PTSS 42.0% participants, 29.0%, 21.4%.
