Background

Abstract
Background
Multiple
published
sources
from
around
the
world
have
confirmed
an
association
between
array
of
adverse
childhood
experiences
(ACEs)
and
other
traumatic
events
with
eating
disorders
(EDs)
related
outcomes,
including
higher
morbidity
mortality.
Methods
In
keeping
this
Special
Issue’s
goals,
narrative
review
focuses
on
ACEs
pyramid

purported
mechanisms
through
which
child
maltreatment
forms
violence
toward
human
beings
influence
health
well-being
individuals
who
develop
EDs
throughout
life
span.
Relevant

(CAMHI)

Greece,
many
instruments

constructs
pertinent

child

adolescent
mental
health
lacked
a
locally-validated,
freely-available
version.
As
part
nationwide
survey,
we
translated
cross-culturally
adapted
collection
seventeen
brief,
largely-employed
assessment
tools
that
can
be
used
at
scale.
