This
review
presents
an
updated
scenario
of
findings
and
evolutions
encapsulation
bioactive
compounds
for
food
agricultural
applications.
Many
polymers
have
been
reported
as
encapsulated
agents,
such
sodium
alginate,
gum
Arabic,
chitosan,
cellulose
carboxymethylcellulose,
pectin,
Shellac,
xanthan
gum,
zein,
pullulan,
maltodextrin,
whey
protein,
galactomannan,
modified
starch,
polycaprolactone,
caseinate.
The
main
methods
investigated
in
the
study
include
both
physical
chemical
ones,
freeze-drying,
spray-drying,
extrusion,
coacervation,
complexation,
supercritical
anti-solvent
drying.
Consequently,

vitamins,
essential
oils,
caffeine,
plant
extracts,
fatty
acids,

Abstract
Rosemary
(
Rosmarinus
officinalis
L.)
is
one
of
the
most
famous
spice
plants
belonging
to
Lamiaceae
family
as
a
remarkably
beautiful
horticultural
plant
and
economically
agricultural
crop.
The
essential
oil
rosemary
has
been
enthusiastically
welcome
in
whole
world
for
hundreds
years.
Now,
it
wildly
prevailing
promising
functional
food
additive
human
health.
More
importantly,
due
its
significant
aroma,
food,
nutritional
value,
also
plays
an
role
food/feed
packaging
industries.
Modern
industrial
development
fundamental
scientific
research
have
extensively
revealed
